Debbie ThomasMar 25, 2026I highly recommend Buffalo Hearing and Speech in taking care of all my hearing needs. I have been going there for many years since I have lived here in Buffalo. They have always addressed my needs.

Elaine CMar 20, 2026I would not recommend this school unless you can request specific teachers and even still I can't say I would recommend this school. My son's IEP was not followed. There are so many inconsistencies in what they say. The original teacher my son was given was not the teacher for his room that was never communicated it was just one day at the end of October an introduction page was sent home. The new teacher was not good and a liar, but they like to use "miscommunication" and attempt to treat you like you're dumb. They said it would be a slow transition 10 days later the new teacher had taken over the classroom. The director said we would still be able to reach the original teacher that did not happen. The lack of integrity is insane. Follow-up questions are very important because that is where you will see that staff is not being honest. The turn over rate here is concerning. At one point I wanted to escalate my concerns beyond the director because she resolved nothing. she said she would get me the information and never did and it was regarding how staff treated my son and what they said The staff were not connected to him and didnt have name badges so I didnt know who they were. I have emails that were never responded to when I realized my son was not being treated the same as the other kids or even being offered the same things as the other kids of the classroom. The level of incompetence in this school is very concerning and it goes from the director...to therapist to the main teacher, because the assistant was amazing. The new nurse seems promising, but there was a nurse that left in the first month of school and the replacement was so incompetent. When you voice concerns here they will talk in circles and try to avoid answering your questions. This is a place you have to be highly detailed oriented and question everything. December my son got hurt. The director told me one thing happened and it was his knee I read the paper from the nurse before leaving the school it says "slammed head on floor" I immediately was concerned when I pulled my car to the director standing outside I tell her you said knee this says his head now what happened to my son...she starts stuttering and says she doesnt know I would have to ask the nurse. The nurse was able to clarify what happened, but my son no longer does to buffalo hearing and speech because God forbid something serious was to happen it would be a bunch of finger pointing and "miscommunications".
