Choosing a daycare is one of the hardest decisions a parent can make, but looking back over the last three years, it was the best one we ever made for our daughter. She started at Building Blocks when she was just four months old, and now that she is three, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible care she has received. We have watched her transition from the infant room to her toddler years with the support of a staff that truly supports my daughter's development and growth. The consistency of care has given me the piece of mind to send her to this child care center each and every morning. We know that she is safe, loved, and in an environment that understands her personality. The teachers are patient and genuinely invested in the children. They don't just "watch" the kids; they teach, mentor, and nurture them. If you are looking for a place where your child will be treated with kindness and encouraged to grow, I cannot recommend Building Blocks highly enough. It has been a second home for our daughter, and we are so thankful for the foundation they’ve helped her build!
Angeline ConteMay 8, 2026My son been going there since he was about 7-8 months old. it was fine then he started to move up in the age group. he got to toddler, so Everyday i would ask how he day was the teachers and assistant said he’s been doing good he did have some tough times on some day but it’s not everyday. They spoke about he cries after nap and hard for him to get calmed down. Let’s me also mention he as a speech delay! They did a questionnaire and I followed the steps to take to get him the help he needs he’s around 1 turning 2 at this point. We have a meeting now everything that he been doing good in that the teachers are telling me are now flipped and he as bad tantrums etc. NOW he’s in pre school, he been in this since 2025 of like i would say oct he had hard tim adjust to new environment after being used to a room. I told the teacher how to cope with him etc. From feb-may theirs been at least 3-4 teacher assistants in the room my 3 years child got told that because he has tantrums and a speech delay he’s being taken out of the daycare. my son came home with a bite mark nobody knows where he got it from, ALSO from end of april to current he been bit 3 times! they stated it took 3 adults to hold him down to change his diaper. yesterday i told the director he has a scratch that looks like a bruise in the middle of it and the next day he put the day care!! since when that is okay! the director is very nice sweet talks you , all understanding til you come with concerns and if your child has any delay this daycare isn’t for the child!
destiny richardsonMay 8, 2026These girls are terrible. Only care about money and will report you for kitten scratch on any occasion
Victoria MazzucaSep 5, 2024Great group of teachers. My 3 year old son is thriving there! He has learned so much and cannot wait to see his teachers and classmates each day.
Katie GrecoMar 10, 2023I have two daughters that go here and honestly wouldn't place them anywhere else. The staff are great and are very loving and caring. My kids always have a good time here and love coming here. My oldest cries when she doesn't get to go to daycare! I love and find peace of mind bringing my kids to a place they love so much and more importantly where they are well taken care of while I'm at work.
Connie DolanJan 26, 2023When my little one started with the facility, it was a wonderful place. I was comfortable leaving them. Fast forward to the waddler/ toddler years, it turned into a nightmare. My husband and I heard and saw, on multiple instances, the staff on their phones not paying attention to the children. My child had more incident reports because of accidents because no one payed attention. So many in 1 week that my little one suffered a concussion. Instead of positive redirection for undesired behavior, children were scolded and threatened that they were going to have toys/electronics taken away from them at home because of their actions. A little girl (2-3 years old) was yelled at so loudly that you could hear it down the hall because she made a mess with the water after washing her hands. My husband got to the room and a this little girl was sobbing. Thankfully that person never returned the center. Children were spoken to with such sarcasm and negative tones. My child was deemed too difficult, too much to handle, there was always a problem, he was always causing trouble, never listened, needed constant 1 on 1, ect.. Unfortunately, I did have to pick him up from daycare because he did get physical with others, because he couldn't yet vocalize his needs. Though the "adults" never could see why. It got to the point where I was told that my child was the reason that these "adults" didn't want to go to work. They didn't want to "deal with them". My child was 2.5 years old. It was recommended by the director and others from there, that my child get evaluated. That is exactly what I did, and got on a waiting list for another facility. We were also told that there were 3-4 other children waiting to be evaluated. Coincidence? Well, after evaluations and a beautiful 3 months with our new Learning Center with educated teachers (Bachelors Degrees) my little one couldn't be better. The "problem" with my child layed here - they were bored and neglected. There are no deficits in intellectual ability and strengths. In fact, their cognitive skills are more advanced than the activities offered. Let's be honest - what 2.5 year old is a master of self-control or able to focus their attention on something they have no interest in? They were just in an unhealthy, unstructured, overpriced facility with a revolving door of uneducated caregivers.
