  • A lot wrong here look around

  • We've had two children in CAL KenTon from the nursery to the toddle room, we've always appreciated the transparency with the app and regular updates we get during the day. We've experienced typical daycare hurdles here or there, but the owners / directors have always kept swift and open communication with us any time we had a question. The location is well setup as well.

  • I had a good experience for the first few months of my daughter attending this day care, this is when they actually seemed to keep the same teachers and director. In about 5-6 months everything totally changed… we had 3-4 new teachers in her nursery room through out those months- & 3 different directors!! This place is unorganized, they treat their employees horribly I watched so many good teachers leave because of it.. my daughter had multiple minor injuries while attending, (mostly during her early months of learning to walk) which I get that kids fall from time to time but with proper attention she wouldn’t be hitting her head on a door frame, emergency exit, or windowsill. When she was super young and still crawling her clothes always came home dirty from the carpeting (which we were told was cleaned every couple of weeks) which teachers told me is a total lie.. she couldn’t even walk yet and her socks were as dirty as can be just from sitting in the bouncer. Recently we had a situation where she was put with older children due to staffing shortages, which isn’t our problem and a total violation. We finally had the opportunity to get out of here and start else where which is a blessing. I would not recommend this day care! Not to mention out of all of the issues I’ve ever had the owners of this operation never reached out to me once about it- Just seems more of business than a place that’s motto is “Care A Lot” I’m sharing my experience for other parents and telling you to find somewhere else to bring your child.

  • I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy’s child to attend this preschool. My son, who has an IEP and speech delay, was targeted by one of the staff members, Miss Tracey. My son started the preschool in the summer for their summer program and there were no issues until Miss Tracey started in the fall. I then started receiving multiple phone calls of a sudden about his behavior, but the one that took the cake was that my son purposely “peed” on her, mind you, my son is still in the process of being potty trained. Miss Tracey who’s “bright” took him off of the potty too early. Miss Tracey said that my son bit her and hit her, but ironically, no other staff member said this or seen this happen. I was told that things would get better when the lead teacher, Miss Meghan came came back, but they did not. Miss Mehgan was a good teacher, but she was not a helpful teacher. The preschool program depends on 1 sped certified teacher to look over 16+ kids, and when she’s absent, a non certified teacher who’s not sped certified substitutes, which is against the law. The company is too cheap to pay a sped certified substitute. The other teachers in the room are not certified to work with sped children. The staff turn over rate is high. I was told my son would be sent home with a calendar of the food he eats each day, which he wasn’t. This place is a joke. I willingly took my son out because the program is not ran correctly or professionally. My son who has a speech delay cannot advocate for himself and with it being shown that the staff is not reliable, it was more safe for me to remove him. He would go to school happy and come home angry. He started doing odd things like smuggling his head into his pillow. If you have a child in pre k, who has ab IEP or speech delay, please place them else where and do not waste your time. You’re better off putting your child into a childcare center until they’re old enough for kindergarten because the preschool program is literally a childcare center covered by the word, “preschool” because they need the funding to stay open. If you look for your child to go else where they will literally spam your phone with phone calls so they will not lose funding. I know they say don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but please judge this place by it’s cover.

  • Wonderful people to care for your child.

  • I used to love this daycare so much when the owners had the previous director. The center was more efficient, put together and more joyful and my children enjoyed it more. I recently went through an experience here I hope no other parent has to. The new director is absolutely awful, unprofessional and inexperienced and made my time for my children horrible. Not once has or did the owners reach out and I’m sure it’s due to the fact this director is a close friend of the family. I would NEVER EVER recommend this daycare to anyone especially to leave your child there in their care all day when they don’t take complaints of One of their teachers seriously and end up kicking out an innocent child when no proof was brought to my attention not once!
