  • So here it is.... my son is 2, never been to a day care before. Always has been home. He started on a Monday and had some transition issues such as crying and wanting to leave. Normal right.... ok. By Thursday morning, I was called by Brittany to terminate services for my son and had to drive back 45 minutes to get him. Keep in mind, I just dropped him off 45 minutes prior and Marsha said nothing to me. Marsha is apparently the "teacher". No complaints made to me as his mom for the whole week leading up to the Thursday morning. The day prior, Marsha instructed me to bring more items for my son, such as a sippy cup, which I did that morning. Communication is key when supervising someone's child or running a day care for that matter. They utilize an app for messages and pictures and not one message regarding issues or transition with my son throughout the day or the 3 days he attended. He was in the middle of transitioning and to call me on the 4th day to terminate services when a conversation was not prior is diabolical. As the director of the program, a conversation should have been held prior. The phone call to terminate services was the first time speaking with the director. Pleasant right. There are 3 staff to roughly 10-15 kids. And as Brittany stated, that wasn't the day care for my son. That I can agree with ...

  • This program is receiving 3 stars solely because of Ms. Marsha, who is an amazing, kind, and patient provider. As for the director, she has a blatant disregard for the families that she supposedly works with. She only cares about money, which is fine — just not when you’re in the business of servicing children. You actually have to want to do this type of work. If you want to be disrespected and met with a displeasing attitude, surely place your child here. Otherwise, I suggest you find another childcare provider for your child.
