My oldest son attended Children of America Stony Point for almost 3.5-4 year prior to my twins, which is why I felt completely comfortable enrolling my infant twins when I returned to work. For many years, we had a wonderful experience, and I truly believed this was the right place for my children. Before anything else, I want to recognize and thank the incredible teachers and staff who made such a positive impact on my family over the years. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Colleen, Ms. Terry, Ms. Jewels, Ms. Briana, Ms. Jocelyn, Ms. Prudent, Mr. Bradley, Mr. Randy,Ms. Neveah, and the former director, Ms. Amanda. Your kindness, patience, compassion, and dedication to the children never went unnoticed. I also want to thank all of the wonderful teachers who were once part of this center but have since moved on. You helped make this school feel like a second home for my children, and I will always be grateful for everything you did. Unfortunately, my experience changed after new management took over. From that point on, I experienced ongoing concerns with leadership, communication, and the way parent concerns were handled. I often felt that my concerns were met with explanations rather than a genuine effort to understand what had happened or acknowledge where improvements could have been made. As a parent, I expected better communication, accountability, and follow-through. After careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw my children and enroll them elsewhere. This was not an easy decision because my family has been part of COA for years, and I trusted this center enough to bring all three of my children here. However, I no longer have the same confidence in the leadership, and I believe seeking another childcare center is the best decision for my family. My hope is that leadership reflects on the feedback provided by families and continues to support the amazing teachers who work so hard every day. The teachers deserve strong leadership, and families deserve honest communication, accountability, and a safe, supportive environment for their children.
Briana RodriguezJul 29, 2026Thank you to children of America for being nurturing and welcoming to my two-year toddler. We recently became apart of the COA family and I am truly grateful. Everyone from security, the director to her amazing teachers have been very kind, helpful and supportive of my child transitioning into daycare. I feel like my child is not only safe but her creativity, energy and curious mind is being nurtured throughout the day which makes me happy. COA is mom and dad approved.
Mrs. WMay 5, 2026I’m so happy with this location. The new director and staff are very helpful, very kind and patient with the children. This makes me feel comfortable with my baby being there. The promotions, activities and building are welcoming and fun. I am so grateful for this place. Thank you for all you ladies and gentlemen are doing for the families you serve.
Rochelle BurkeApr 10, 2026Absolutely love my daughter's teacher, Ms. Prudence. I'm so thankful to see the growth she's made in just a year! They do amazing, creative activities each day to boost their emotional and academic growth. You can see the love and care that pours through Ms. Prudence as an educator. Thank you so much!
Samara ToussaintJan 23, 2026My daughter has been attending Children Of America for the past 10 months and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The facility is always clean, safe, and well-organized, creating a nurturing environment for the children. What truly sets this daycare apart is the staff, especially Ms.Amber and Ms.Terry They are both exceptional caregivers. They are patient, kind, and genuinely invested in each child's development. My daughter has blossomed under there guidance, learning new skills and building confidence every day. Ms.Amber and Ms.Terry also communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly. We highly recommend Children Of America to any parent seeking a loving and enriching daycare experience for their child. The combination of a well-maintained facility and dedicated staff makes it a truly special place.
Genesis ValentinDec 10, 2025My daughter has been going to children of America for over a year now. She started at 3 1/2 months. Her teachers Ms Jocelyn and Ms jewelz have been amazing with her in infant A, from meal time, bottles activities. She moved up to infant B and is with ms Alanna who is also amazing. My baby girl loves being in the bigger classroom with more fun activities. Art projects, reading, music. She loves going In the buggy and going to see other children in the building. She also love Ms Colleen and Ms Neveah who assist with daily activities. They all work together and Makes drop off easy and knowing she’s in good hands. Thank you to these amazing teachers.
