I can't say enough good things about Colonial Youth program. Originally I had my kids signed up in a private in home program, that wasn't the best fit. When I found out that Colonial offered aftercare at WFE, I decided it would be perfect for us, as my kiddos are WFE students and wouldnt need to be transported to another location. Almost immediately I could tell that this was going to be great for my kids. My son, in particular is neurodivergent and we have encountered many issues with other caretakers and educators not managing his issues effectively nor appropriately. At Colonial Youth they do a FANTASTIC job of not only managing him, but helping to calm and redirect him. Ms. Judy and her staff truly care and you can tell in everything they do. Ms. Judy expects a lot from her staff and the kids in her care but the way she runs things comes from a place of love and genuine care. All of the staff there have been wonderful, Ms. Angela also works in the district during the day so knows most of the kids. She is excellent at deescalating my son when he is upset and getting him calmed back down. Ms. Judy has been so accommodating with scheduling and any changes that I've needed to do. I couldn't think about sending my kids anywhere else at this point.
Kiersten HatchSep 25, 2025Love this place . My daughter has the most attentive teachers and director ! They update me all day long to make me feel at ease while I’m at school and work
Noelle WetzelOct 25, 2023My little brother got hurt by older kids while attending this daycare. They never informed my mother of the incident nor did they get him medical attention. When he was picked up from daycare she was made aware of what had happened. They older children called him a racial slur and then pushed him off of the playground. After daycare he was taken by my mother the urgent care which advised her of his broken arm. Staff would not give my mother the names of the parents nor did they take any action against the children involved. Where were the staff when this happened and why was there no incident report done. Please read the reviews throughly before trusting these people with your children! I would not be surprised if they are in the news in the near future.
Maria FalangaOct 25, 2022Very unprofessional group of women who run this so called “state funded organization” Everyone here is either related or family friends an have no reason being any type of “pre schooling teacher”. Some staff has cuts an wounds of self harm up an down their arms, others clearly under the influence of something. Young girls constantly texting on phones, calling out an late. Very unreliable to trust young children with. Most of these girls seem they come in to work after a long night out having fun. Some girls here even tell us parents they’ve been there since 7am an its 6pm i am picking up my child. That is crazy for an 18 year old!! You’d think after covid, bussiness’s/ child care centers would be more clean and care more about their workers let alone children that walk through the door. I mean they do have to take pictures of each child beginning of the day to end for a reason right? I believe someone needs to reavulate this and even so talk with whoever is managing this place because beyond obsurd & ridiculous!!!
Alex MadlingerMay 7, 2022My self and my Wife are proud to have our daughter attending the Colonial Youth DayCare, Our daughter gets treated with love all the time, the staff is always on top of everything when it comes to our daughter safety and learning, we love how they are always sending us pictures and wat our daughter is doing.. Who doesnt want that??? I know we sure love it, especially the app. It is great, Thank you Colonial Youth!!! I would definetely recomend this Day Care!! Keep up the good work for our daughter and all the kids that attend the Day Care😀
Eliseo SalcedoAug 19, 2020My kids have been going to colonial for about 2 years now. I can go on and on about how clean professional and great this place is. My kids never want to leave and my son every morning asks if he’s going to “school” and gets all happy and excited . The staff really cares for all the kids there and you can tell they treat them like if they were their Own I definitely recommend Colonial to anyone who wants their kids in a place that genuinely cares and want your kids to succeed
