  • Day to day staff? Great people. Leadership? I wouldn’t trust them to take care of a house plant.

  • Daystar Kids has done more for my child then I could have ever anticipated. Literally every single person we worked with or interacted with during our time at Daystar felt like they are world class level at their jobs. The love we felt from these people was matched only by the strides they helped my son make in his developmental journey. Words can’t express how I feel and will always feel about this place and the wonderful individuals who work here. 5 stars all day long every day of every week!

  • Daystar kids was the best thing that has happened to our family and helps out our little one so much. This place makes it possible to make sure my child gets the therapy and attention my child deserves and needs to be pushed to his limits to reach his full potential don't know where we would be without daystar. The people here treat you and your children like their own they are a big family.

  • Truly disappointing management. Director feels she has the right to scream at her employees like they are children. She lost sight of the difference between the children of Daystar and her Adult team members. Nurse manager does not communicate and doesn't know how to think for herself. Director is very good at hiding bad things that occur at this establishment. Teachers assistants are the best part about the whole place.. they do all the work. These children deserve much better. Director should not be allowed to work with children and protecting their safety and overall wellbeing.

Questions parents ask about DAYSTAR KIDS

Is DAYSTAR KIDS a licensed child care provider in New York?

Yes. DAYSTAR KIDS holds New York registration 607291, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on January 14, 2023 and current through January 13, 2027. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.

What kind of child care is DAYSTAR KIDS?

New York licenses DAYSTAR KIDS as a Day Care Center (DCC), which is centre-based care in non-residential premises. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.

What ages does DAYSTAR KIDS care for?

New York licenses DAYSTAR KIDS for 16 infant places, 23 toddler places and 22 preschool places. Each figure is a ceiling the state set, not current enrolment.

Which school district is DAYSTAR KIDS in?

DAYSTAR KIDS sits in the Brighton school district, in Monroe County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.

Does this page show inspection results for DAYSTAR KIDS?

No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects DAYSTAR KIDS's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
