After researching several daycare options in the area, my wife and I chose The DayCare of Excellence, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the time our daughters were babies, the staff has provided a loving, nurturing environment that has played a huge role in their development. We were amazed to see them learning sign language, developing their English and Spanish language skills, practicing table manners, and beginning potty training at such an early age. More importantly, the daycare became an extension of our family, and our girls looked forward to going every day. Now that they're both over two years old, we can clearly see the positive impact this experience has had on their growth and confidence. We are incredibly grateful for the care they've received and wholeheartedly recommend The DayCare of Excellence to any family looking for a strong foundation for their children.
Caryl ReidJul 9, 2026Highly recommend Family Daycare of Excellence! We have had our daughters at their home daycare for over four years, and we have had the best experience. As working parents my husband and I knew that we would need childcare. But as first-time parents, seeking childcare feels extensive, time consuming, and emotional. Once we visited Family Daycare of Excellence, we really felt at peace and faithfully enrolled our four-month-old, followed by her little sister shortly after. It has truly been one of the best decisions we could have made for both our daughters, who are 16 months apart. While Family Daycare of Excellence makes it clear that they are not a school and are focused on age-appropriate development, social skills, and nurturing, my girls have thrived in their vocabulary and sign language. They are always learning something new and love their time at daycare. If picture is worth a thousand words, please enjoy this one of the pure joy of my little one running to the owner in their private fenced outdoor play yard. In addition, a video worth a thousand more words of my infant’s excitement of returning to daycare after being away on vacation. They are easy to communicate with and are understanding of questions/ clarity. They were also flexible within their hours of care with the hours we needed. We will welcome our third and have already requested to hold a spot <3
Jelissa ToroJul 6, 2026We were so blessed to come in contact with this daycare. We never worried about leaving our child here. The staff is so warm and friendly and cares about your child. They treated our child like one of theirs. If you are seeking a daycare that cares about your child, this is the place.
Amanda AlbertAug 18, 2024This family owned business is by far the best! I do not have family that live in NY and I have only trusted them with both my children before they start school. Bring your babies here and you will not be disappointed.
Michelle MooreAug 28, 2023If you are looking for an excellent place to take care of your child, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. We've sent our little one there since he was 8 months old. The staff is very polite, friendly, and most importantly, loving. I really want to emphasize this, as the emotional part is often overlooked. In some places we interviewed, they seemed very "cold" and "pushy", and we felt as if they were pressuring us to secure the spot. This place is definitely not like that; they wanted to talk to us and evaluate if our kid and parents were a great fit. The place is amazing. Children are in a very thriving and loving environment, and they get very attached to their teachers. Yes, they are teachers, but I feel my son sees them as close relatives, especially "abuelita" Elonka and "tia" Pamela. They speak both Spanish and English, and are very accommodating and willing to help you out if the place is closed for their planned closure. Unfortunately, due to a big adjustment in our work schedule and location, we had to leave this place, and I am very sad about it. This place is an excellent choice for quality and nurturing child care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly and loving. I highly recommend it.
Francesco MaidaApr 18, 2023My daughter started daycare at 6 months. What made family daycare of excellence the right choice was how safe the staff made me feel. My babygirl learned how to walk at this daycare and every time I picked her up from daycare she was so happy and never wanted to leave thats how I know I made the right choice.
