  • The owner, Robert, is super rude. He is the most obnoxious person ever. If things don't go the way he wants, he will scream at you. You would think that the owner of a daycare would have more education, however, he won't think twice about raising his voice at you and diminishing you. Worst daycare ever.

  • This was the first and only daycare we toured when pregnant with our son as we didn’t need to look any further. Deciding who to trust with your baby, especially during the height of COVID, is a hard decision, but once we toured with the director, Ms. Tasheika, we knew our guy would be in great hands. 4.5 years later, we’re truly sad his time here is ending. The staff at this center have been our village and so clearly love the work they do. The low staff turnover rate speaks for itself. They truly go above and beyond in not only watching the kids during the day but making sure they’re set up for success in their next chapters. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for our son and for us.

  • First Friends is a daycare that feels like family, and that’s something I didn’t think existed. Both my daughter and son were the first in our family of 7 to attend a daycare, and while their time at First Friends has come to an end- we left feeling like we had hit the jackpot. The impact that Miss Miriah, Miss Court and Miss Von left on their little hearts as well as my own will never be forgotten. If you’re considering putting your child in daycare and want it to feel like home, this is the place. 🫶

  • This daycare claims to be breastfeeding friendly and the director really sold the idea but the staff was unresponsive to parent wishes about feedings and threw out an ounce of breast milk. The main teacher in the infant room not only argued with me but couldnt recall the amount of breastmilk she gave my son in a 4 hour timeframe even though it was recorded in their app. Multiple members of the staff wear the masks incorrectly or not at all including the assistant director. The brightwheel app is definitely not updated in real time as it was often 3-4 hours before information from that timeframe was entered. I had such high hopes for this place and the only positive thing i have to say at this point is the director was very nice and professional. I hope moving forward she can develope her team to follow her lead.

  • Great new daycare center! Everything inside is new and fresh. Employees are very nice and they use Brightwheel so you get updates on what your child has eaten, when they napped and what they learned for the day. The owner's children attend too so you know it will be top notch. Highly recommend.

  • I just came in from a tour and the place is absolutely amazing!! I never heard of germ free paint until today.

What kind of child care is First Friends Day Care?

New York licenses First Friends Day Care as a Day Care Center (DCC), which is centre-based care in non-residential premises. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.
