  • My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves going here! Jade and her family have provided a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. As a single working mom, I always had peace of mind after dropping my daughter off here that she would be well taken care of by a beautiful family. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care and support they’ve provided us. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a daycare program or babysitter.

  • Love this daycare. Jade is super sweet to my girl. My 6 year old gets dropped off after school for 2.5 hours at growing garden and she absolutely loves it. My daughter mentions going back on the weekends lol. As a mother, it gives me comfort that she's so fond of this place and Jade. I highly recommend this daycare.

  • Very spacious and clean environment with a “home-like” feel. The backyard is huge and equipped with a playground! The owner is very organized and communicative. My little one loves it there. Highly recommended

  • I wanted to make sure I gave this place the review it truly deserves because, as a parent, I know the silent battle that happens in your mind when choosing a daycare. Your rational brain says, Find a safe, loving place so you can work and provide. Your emotional brain whispers, No one will care for your child like you do. And your primal brain screams, Are they truly safe? I’ve been there. The overthinking, the guilt, the fear of making the wrong choice—it nearly consumed me. I couldn’t focus at work because my mind was stuck on what ifs. But then I found Growing Garden in Merrick, and suddenly, my instincts did something unexpected. They relaxed. From the first day, I could feel it—this place is different. The warmth isn’t just surface-level. The staff instinctively knows each child, their needs, their quirks, their comforts. There’s an unspoken sense of security, a rhythm, a presence that tells you, they are always watching, always aware. It’s not just a daycare—it’s an extension of home. My daughter, Serafina, is too young to talk, but I see it in her body language. The way she settles in so easily, how her little face lights up, how she sleeps peacefully at night—she feels safe. And that feeling? It’s everything. If you’re anything like me, you’ve spent hours searching, comparing, second-guessing. But the truth is, as far as I’m concerned, this is the only option on Long Island. You don’t realize how much mental space the worry takes up until it’s gone. I just wanted to leave this because I know that feeling—the need for certainty, for a sign that you’re making the right choice. This is your sign. Trust your instincts. You’ll just know.
