  • We absolutely love Heart to Heart Daycare and have been going here for the last 5 years, since my daughter was seven weeks old, and now my son currently attends. This daycare is a 25 minute drive out of the way and I pass several other daycares along the way, but Heart to Heart has my heart and I would never choose another daycare! Mr. Dan (owner) goes above and beyond to teach the kids not only the curriculum, but manners, how to appropriately socialize, and have fun! The staff organizes field trips about once a month to farms, the wolf sanctuary, museums, dentists, aquariums, zoos, hibachi, etc. and they provide the bus for transportation to these events. They organize family picnics, family dinners, an art show, egg hunt, Mother's Day and Father's Day celebrations, end of year graduations, talent shows, and always holiday parties… you might even meet Santa! They also offer parent-teacher conferences twice a year. This daycare is very convenient as it opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 6:30 PM which is a huge help for working parents who spend most of the day away from home. They rarely ever close for snow days because Mr. Dan lives right up the road and will always open the door for you, especially when you are in a pickle. This daycare is also reasonably priced and he allows you to choose a school schedule according to your personal family needs. Mr. Dan ensures that not only are the kids happy at school, but the entire family is included, and the parents are also happy. There is a huge garden for kids to grow vegetables, they hatch chicks and butterflies and ladybugs too! Heart to Heart daycare also has a live camera to put parents at ease and I find myself checking in to watch my kids several times a day! I would never choose a daycare without camera access. They also have multiple playground areas, go outside at least once a day, and have water play during the summer season. My children love going to school every day and cry when I pick them up at the end of the day. There is NOT ONE BAD THING I CAN SAY about this place and that means a lot when you have to leave your children in someone else's care. I absolutely adore Heart to Heart daycare and highly recommend!

  • My son attended Heart 2 Heart from 7 months to 5 years old, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. This daycare provided a nurturing environment filled with educational activities that prepared him well for kindergarten. Throughout the years, my son enjoyed many fun and unique experiences like watching eggs hatch, growing butterflies and working on art and craft projects that sparked creativity. The director, Mr. Dan, goes above and beyond to care for and teach the children. The ability to watch my child through cameras throughout the day gave me peace of mind. My son learned a lot and built a solid foundation here. I highly recommend Heart 2 Heart to anyone looking for a safe and enriching place for their child. ---

  • My son was at heart 2 heart full time from 3 months through pre-k, and I can not recommend it enough. Mr. Dan has developed an amazing program for each age group, and works with each individual student's needs to help them succeed. My son is naturally very shy and has blossomed so much in this program both socially and academically. As my son moves on to kindergarten I have realized that H2H is largely responsible for his being ready for this next step - they taught him to write his name, add numbers, read sight words, identify shapes, zip his zippers, and countless other things - not me. Mr Dan also works very hard to create a community for H2H kids to be a part of for their early development years. He does a bunch of family engagement activities during each school year - art show, graduation ceremony, trick or treat, holiday dinners, summer picnic. Toddlers, preschool, and pre-k go on a ton of great field trips (zoo, aquarium, wolf sanctuary, apple picking, small farm, hibachi, and others) and activities (mystery reader, caterpillar to butterfly and release, egg hatch to chickens or ducks) that parents can be involved in. I am so thankful for Mr Dan and all of his staff for being a part of my sons early development years. He has created a safe, loving environment that you can really feel good about your kid being a part of. Also - every room has a camera that parents can access to check on their kids from home, which most daycares don't have and really helped me feel comfortable leaving my son at 3 months. H2H is also very capable of handling allergies (my son has had food allergies since the infant room) and will allow speech therapists etc to come in to school. The kids get outside most days and there is a large playground, grassy area to run around, a garden that the kids help grow things in, and water play in the summer.

  • Heart 2 Heart is an amazing childcare center! I had such anxiety putting my baby in daycare. Dan eased my anxiety from day 1. I looked at a few childcare places and I am so happy I went with heart 2 heart! They are very organized and well put together. They are so caring and great with the kids. My son loves it here. From the teachers to the owner. I would highly recommend!

  • Heart 2 Heart is an amazing child care center. This child care center is every parents dream of what a home away from home should be. All of their staff always go above and beyond to keep our children safe while learning and having fun! I have been part of this wonderful family for 3 years and have been loving every minute of it.

  • We have had extensive experience with 6 day care facilities in Danbury over a period of about 5 years and my wife and I both agree that Heart2Heart day care was/is our top choice. We would highly recommend this day care for any child from infant to pre-k age. The programs are well though out, the instructors are sensitive to the needs of the children and good at adapting their approach on an individual level. The proprietor, Dan Rudolph is also a superstar. He is amazing with the kids (they all love him), very good at communicating with parents, and 100% focused on running a top quality program. Our two children attended Heart 2 Heart day care for extended time frames (years) within a 5+ year period. The facility also remains open until 6:30 which is a boon for parents who have long commutes to/from work. The program also includes the ability to watch a streaming video from the class room. It works really well and we enjoyed being able to see our children throughout the day on our smartphones. To share a bit about our story, one of our children required various therapies through the Connecticut Birth to Three program. Mr. Rudolph (Dan) was great at allowing these services to be provided at his facility 5 days a week for at least a year. When our oldest child turned three he was then migrated into an early intervention program with the Danbury school system. Unfortunately, he needed to take a bus to/from the program each day and the buses could only pick him up from a CT facility. It was at this point that we began working with other local day care facilities and gained extensive knowledge of the local options. Our experiences with the other Danbury locations varied from poor (2 facilities), moderate (2 facilities) to good (1 facility), but none came close to the overall quality we had experienced at Heart 2 Heart. To provide some examples of the great things about Heart 2 Heart, the children regularly (monthly) have the opportunity to go on planned educational field trips to places such as the aquarium, apple picking, wolf conservatory, dentist, "Build a Bear", Green Chimney's, Hibachi Restaurant, etc. The instructors encourage both individual and group learning and an overall sense of team work. The educators are willing to go the extra step to warm up the kids lunches brought from home, and even offer a hot lunch option for parents who prefer that (at a very reasonable price). The kids have ample time at the playground area and given plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun and exercise. Mr. Rudolph also maintains a garden on-site and the children get to see the vegetables growing and eat some too! The instructors really care, they are NOT "babysitters" and actually engage the children and love what they do. The class sizes are not too big and the day care runs like an extended family. Mr. Rudolph (Dan) at key times of the year puts on big holiday dinners, to which every family is invited, and during which the children showcase their talents (singing, art, etc.). One of the biggest hits each year is the day when the day care is transformed into an art gallery and the children's works are put on display (even the infants!). There are many, many more things that this day care does on a consistent basis which make a difference in the lives of the children and the families who go there. There is too much to include in this brief review, but hopefully this will give you a sense for what a special place this is.
