  • My child started in the JPK3 program and it has been nothing short of life changing. Her teachers are amazing and how much she has learned is worth every penny. I would recommend this place for anyone with 3&4yos looking for a daycare/prek setting!!

  • Both of my boys go here and love it! It has been a life changer for us and especially my eldest son who struggles with ADHD. The teachers and staff there are amazing. Erin, the director, has helped us and continues to help us navigate the special education process with his iep (individualized education program) so he can be successful in his academics. They also focus on social emotional development which is so helpful lol for all of us!

  • My youngest attends Imagination for UPK. We have had a wonderful experience so far. The teachers are warm and welcoming. The building is clean and well maintained. The playground is fun and unique and will be getting upgraded soon to be more accessible. I felt very comfortable with the administration side of things when I attended the parent meeting at the beginning of the year. Since then I’ve found some of the individuals I’ve encountered to be a bit cold. I was told my child didn’t want to eat the provided lunch and I should plan to pack food for them until they were less picky. If I were a parent who was having trouble affording food for my child, I can imagine how upsetting this exchange would have been. Also, my child is a wonderful eater. It was probably due to the fact that this was a new environment and they weren’t feeling relaxed enough yet to eat a full meal away from home. As a former teacher, I understand how hectic the pace of a school day can be, which is why I’m choosing to give grace in this area. Administrators and teachers have so much on their plates. I appreciate that my child is cared for, safe, and happy.

  • I'm a mom who loves writing and reading reviews so I hope this helps other families who are in search of a school/childcare provider. Let me start off with saying I did enjoy this school for my son who is in pre school. However if your kids are being evaluated or could potentially have learning delays you may want to look else where. Not because the staff will treat them differently but because they can't accommodate to children with certain special needs or that's being evaluated to see if special education is even the right placement for them as I was eventually told on the day I was asked to search for another provider. My child has been in daycare since about 6 months of age from Ohio- to Rochester NY. In total he has been to 3 facilities in his life span of 3.6 years. He left one facility because of relocation to Rochester, NY. The other facility we left because of the pandemic, I at the time was in nursing school so cost was a factor but other than that we would have kept him there. Once I was able to send my child back to school we went with Imagination Childcare Academy. The director is amazing. I love their curriculum, the kids always learned things, they always came home with nice art work, projects etc. However, my son did not thrive in this environment. He actually started to regress. He is being evaluated for some developmental delays but again I never had half the issues I had at his previous provider that I experienced here. Not to say this was a bad place, I just think you should thoroughly do your research. Be up front and honest and ask if they will be able to accommodate your child (which I was, I had already let them know he was being evaluated for speech at the time). It really disheartened me when I was asked to find my son another provider. They were willing to let him stay for a few weeks while I was doing so, but to be honest what parent would allow their kid to stay somewhere where they clearly have stated the environment is not for them and they would like for him to leave. Needless to say my son will be going back to his previous provider Childtime with open arms and clear concise communication, and most importantly a plan to work on the issues we had with the previous provider and the things we as parents are working on at home and with his specialist going forward. Again, if your child can thrive without extra help and accommodation then this is a decent place. If your child is being evaluated and has not start to receive services then maybe you should speak a little more with the director so she can come up with a plan for her staff to assist your needs better. Please note: I was never told my child was a safety concern when he was recently asked to leave, I was only told that he would have multiple periods throughout his part time day of loud moments, not wanting to participate, occasionally running at play time outside away from the teacher in what looks to be a fenced in location. His daily reports were never accurate because one teacher would say his day wasn't as challenging but another would say otherwise. When they removed him from the classroom he would calm down. Maybe he was over stimulated or maybe something in the classroom was provoking him. In any case he is no longer there. Again great place, no hard feelings at all, But not as inclusive after this previous experience. Hope this helps :)

  • This facility is absolutely amazing. I am a single mother of 2, and was having a terrible experience with a previous daycare provider. On top of having to remove my kids from this provider, we were also in the middle of a very abrupt move from Greece to Gates so I needed something fast and reliable. I honestly never thought I would be this happy with childcare, and thanks to Imagination a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. From the moment I started speaking with Erin I felt comfortable. I did not have good feelings about any of the other places I looked in to. Erin helped me feel comfortable and immediately assured me that she could offer everything I needed for my 4 and 7 year old. Everyone at imagination is Kind, efficient, and great with communication. On top of that the facility is huge and has a wonderful learning curriculum. I am beyond satisfied knowing my girls are here every day.

  • My daughter has been attending Imagination for almost 2 years now and we absolutely love it!! Amazing supportive staff, so much more than childcare. The teachers really put a lot of time and effort into their curriculum and my daughter has not only grown in her interpersonal skills, but in her general knowledge as well. She loves attending Imagination Childcare and always says how much fun she has with her teachers and peers. I can't say enough good things about Erin the director and both of the teachers we've had (Elizabeth in the toddler room and Maryann in jr pre-k).
