  • Meryl has taken care of our two boys for 6 years. We have been very happy w the care we have received. She genuinely cared for the boys as if they were her own. I would recommend this daycare service.

  • Meryl is a warm and sweet woman! Our daughter has flourished there! I appreciate that this is a fully licensed facility and that she is very on top of her paperwork! My daughter started at 5 months old. She is always happy to see the staff at drop off and comes home happy and well cared for!

  • Yes, I have already reviewed Inquisitive Minds. I really wanted to add how much my daughter looks forward to visiting with Meryl. My little one goes to sleep on time with the promise that she will get to see Meryl the next day. The next morning, she gets up and asks to go to Meryl's. My angel does have to go to school first, though.

  • My daughter loves it there! Meryl & Stephanie are great with her.

Questions parents ask about Inquisitive Minds

Is Inquisitive Minds a licensed child care provider in New York?

Yes. Inquisitive Minds holds New York registration 687064, listed as "REGISTRATION" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on September 25, 2024 and current through September 24, 2028. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.

What kind of child care is Inquisitive Minds?

New York licenses Inquisitive Minds as a Family Day Care (FDC), which is care in a provider's home for a small group of children. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.

What ages does Inquisitive Minds care for?

New York licenses Inquisitive Minds for children 6 weeks to 12 years, up to 8 at one time. The age span is the state's, taken from its published capacity record.

Which school district is Inquisitive Minds in?

Inquisitive Minds sits in the Oceanside school district, in Nassau County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.

Does this page show inspection results for Inquisitive Minds?

No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Inquisitive Minds's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.

About this record

This page republishes the public license record maintained by the Office of Children and Family Services (New York City center-based programs are permitted by NYC DOHMH and published separately; NYC family, group family and school-age programs are OCFS-overseen and included here). Fields marked "Not listed" are absent from the state's published data, not hidden. Verify current license status with the agency before enrolling.
