It's rough in the daycare field right now. We had to move a toddler here due to staff shortages at our old place. My 2-year-old had a pretty smooth transition over her first week or two. Her toddler 1 and 2 classroom teachers are super attentive and cheerful and loving! I'm impressed with the number and variety of activities they do with the toddlers every day. Director Amanda is devoted to the growth and nurturing of the kids, the staff/teachers, and the center as a whole. She is very involved in things at the center. Love all the outdoor space for littles and bigger kids! Trees, grass, great playgrounds outside. Also, there's a large movement area for when weather doesn't cooperate. So she's not stuck in one room all day long (unlike other places). My toddler loves helping water their garden in the morning. And the biggest deal for my family is that we are paying for full time care and we are actually PROVIDED full time care (unlike other places that would last-minute turn us away due to staff shortages). Overall, we've been very pleased with our move here but we're new and still getting to know all the staff and other families.
Stephanie BucksJul 17, 2026As a parent to a child who has done both the UPK program and summer camp here at inspire Macedon I have been overly thrilled with the amount of attention care and development my child has had. When it’s your child’s first time going to a full day program as a four year-old, you’re not sure what to expect but my expectations were blown out the window the UPK teachers have been more patient and understanding of each child’s need than I could’ve hoped for. The summer program continues to have those same values and my son continues to come home happy full of stories and full of fun. Additionally, they use a wonderful app so that you can keep updated with staff your own child and the comings and goings of the school itself. S.Gallagher
Samantha GallagherJul 10, 2026Wonderful childcare, all of my questions and concerns are addressed professionally and positively and swiftly. The staff truly cares about the children and their individual needs and personalities. They tailor their days to the needs of the children, tons of active gross motor play which is so crucial to young children’s development, a lot of outside time if weather permits as well as a large indoor play space. Large class room sizes for children to learn and grow. Special days and activities, field trips..My child has some specific needs and they are meeting his challenging needs with love, patience and understanding all while being proactive to find solutions. Procare app is super helpful for any communication, updates on your child’s day pictures, meals, activities etc Overall very happy with our recent change to this daycare. It’s been the best one yet!
Maureen LebrechtApr 2, 2026We’ve been with Inspire Penfield (formerly Children’s Continuous Care) for 3 years. We’ve seen many staffing changes over the years (as many centers have dealt with), but Miss Jordan has especially been an influential, positive, and caring teacher for both of our kids the entire time we’ve been at the center. They run to see her each morning at drop off and she always greets them with a warm smile and a hug. We also appreciate the care that all of the current teachers and staff show our children in a daily basis. Each teacher takes the time to learn all the children’s names, regardless of which classroom they are currently assigned to. They are fed healthy meals and snacks. Our younger child has daily gross and fine motor activities, as well as academics appropriate for their age group. Our children are happy and well cared for, so much so that they don’t have to leave at pick up! There is an appropriate level of communication between the center and parents. The new directors are increasing the amount of optional “extracurriculars” that are offered during the day, as well as planning fun family events. We are very grateful for Inspire Penfield!
Nicole MillerJan 23, 2026Miss Jordan and Miss Kay are absolute angels. They are friendly, transparent, and organized. The progress I've seen in my son since the beginning of the school year is tremendous.
Erin SmithJan 16, 2026Our family has been a part of Inspire Penfield for the past four years, with two of our children currently attending. We appreciate the structure and consistency their teachers provide to their days, as well as the updates throughout the day and the prompt communication. A few months ago the center hired a new director, and I have been really impressed with the changes and overall positive environment that Amanda has created. Our kids love it here- they’re so excited to see their teachers and friends every day!
