  It is often said that the most significant investments we make in life are a home, a car, or a wedding. But as a conscious and intentional parent, I respectfully disagree. I believe the greatest investment we make is in laying a strong, nurturing foundation for our children — emotionally, intellectually, and socially. The decision to choose a daycare is not one to be taken lightly. It goes far beyond convenience or cost; it is about entrusting someone with the earliest and most formative years of your child’s life. While many focus on the financial burden of childcare, I view it as an investment in my daughter’s development — a foundation for her intellect, socialization, self-esteem, and overall character. When selecting a daycare, I believe one must look beyond surface-level factors. Cleanliness, safety, curriculum, and credentials are vital — but so too are compassion, consistency, spiritual grounding, and an authentic love for children. With that said, I am truly grateful to have found Kim and her exceptional team at Joyful Kids in Care. My daughter has attended this daycare for over two years, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best parenting decisions I’ve made. Kim is a woman of integrity and faith — a woman of God — and it radiates through her demeanor, her patience, her attentiveness, and the joyful atmosphere she cultivates. She listens intently, understands the unique developmental needs of each child, and masterfully weaves learning, manners, and structure into each day with genuine care and joy. Her daycare is clean, calm, and full of positive energy. More importantly, it is a safe space where children feel seen, heard, and loved. My daughter has flourished in every imaginable way under Kim's care. Her communication skills, confidence, kindness, and curiosity have blossomed — and as a parent, there is no greater reward than seeing my child thrive. One of the things I value most about Kim is her commitment to partnering with parents. We have faced challenges, celebrated milestones, and collaborated every step of the way — always with transparency and trust. In every sense, she is a part of the “village” we so often say it takes to raise a child. The thought of my daughter aging out of Joyful Kids in Care fills me with bittersweet emotion.   I love the care and dedication Joyful Kids in Care! They embody how I want my child to be taught, with love, creativity and energy. My son now knows the ABCs and how they sound, how to count to 20, all the colors, and shapes, and even some Spanish! He has also been learning to regulate his big emotions and how to treat other respectfully. If you are looking for more than just a babysitter, but a team that will motivate and challenge your child to be better on all aspects, I highly recommend Joyful Kids in Care.

  Kim, Didi and Devin are incredible. The environment is clean, fun and educational for the children. My 2 year old is constantly learning new songs, words and sign language! My 1 year old lights up in the morning when he sees his best friend Didi. I am so impressed with the work they do for every child. My husband and I cannot recommend Joyful Kids enough. Knowing my kids are safe, learning AND having fun is priceless.

  Joyful Kids in Care is hands down one of the best home daycare I have used. All three of my children are in Kim's care. I was searching for daycares in my school district because I desperately needed someone to put my child on the bus. This daycare has before and after school care, which is what I needed and has a bus stop for my child's school, which was a HUGE plus. The hours of operation are another plus as a parent who commutes to Queens every morning. You can trust Kim and her staff with your children. Mine are always happy in her care and come home with smiles.

  Kim and her staff are just great ! This is the first time my child has ever been to daycare and she absolutely loves it! It feels good knowing I can be gone for work 8hrs out the day and know my child is being well taken care of! I love the learning aspect and activities, they work with your child to learn no matter the disability. I recommended joyful kids in care to all parents 😊❤️

  I was so stressed out with trying to find a daycare for my child, as this is my first time and first child. I was so worried but when I spoke with ms. Kim on the phone she made me feel at ease! I was invited to bring my child to the center to get a feel of what my child would be looking forward too. He did great, the staff was so pleasant and showed so much love and compassion I knew it was the place for him. He is progressing with his speech and so many other avenues and I couldn’t be happier. If your looking for a safe and healthy learning environment for your young ones this is the place. Keep up the Excellent Work you are appreciated.
