  • I heard Judah cubs had opened back up (after closing for 6 months) so I came back to review my son's time there. Let's start out with the good... Marlene is very flexible which was much appreciated with my crazy schedule as a first time mom working full time. We started there January 2025 to December 2025. At first, I would get a few pictures and updates during the day and that slowly stopped. I never really knew what was going on unless the caregiver told me when I picked up my son. If I needed something specific I would have to text Marlene who would then have to text the caregiver to find out the information. I felt they really should have paperwork/writing when someone went potty or what they ate, etc but ok it is what it is. Second, I think sometimes they went for an occasional walk, but I never got information of ever going outside any other time. Then when going to pick up my son, all the kids were just sitting in pack and plays....it made it appear like they were doing nothing with them. Why were they not playing or doing an activity? Third, and very frustrating. 6 months in Marlene JACKED UP THE COST. She proposed a new fee of $85 dollars PER WEEK!!! I was PACKING my son lunches and bottles. No one told me they had a food program either. After complaining she made the increase $60 PER WEEK which was significantly higher still and WAY HIGHER then daycares in the area. A lot of parents also left due to the increase in costs. She uses bright wheel only for payments and charged fees for credit cards so it still ended up being and extra 10 dollars per week, so $40 for month to pay through the app!!! Fourth, my son did ONE activity and it was around Thanksgiving which was his hand made into a turkey. Fifth, my son got Hand, Foot and Mouth from another child at the daycare (which it is what it is because you sometimes cannot prevent kids from getting stuff from kids) BUT when she called saying she noticed bumps on him THEN STATED A KID THE PREVIOUS WEEK (this was a monday) had signs of it the week before (Thursday/friday) and she TOLD NO PARENTS. As a first time mom, I thought he had a bug bite on his foot because it was about August time. The real kicker is after my son had HFM SHE SENT OUT A LETTER like it was my son who brought it. The letter should have been sent THE WEEK BEFORE when the first child had it. You should not hide these things from parents. (A caregiver also told me it was not my son who had it first) Lastly, Marlene is not good with communication unless you spell it out and has coped an attitude a few times. Camila, my sons favorite caregiver who took care of him from 4 months until we left he loved seeing. I would drop him off and he would go right to her. If she wasnt there yet and Marlene was the one at drop off my son would cry and not want to go with her and that says something... I started looking at other daycares November 2025 and they had lunches included and activities and outside time for more than $100 less a week. Do I recommend this daycare...absolutely no. Also, when I put in my 2 week notice to leave, she sent out a letter she was closing in one week. Funny you need to put in 2 weeks notice, but they do not have to give 2 weeks notice WHEN CLOSING DOWN THE DAYCARE. Camila was really the person who ran the daycare and all the kids and parents adored her. Last comment: Marlene also said Camila's name wrong. She called her Ka-Ma-la. You really have to not care about your employees to say their name wrong for over a year....

  • I visited the Judah Cubs Daycare and was blown away by the vivid colors and pristine appearance. The Daycare was well organized and had state of the art technology including a sign in Kiosk for parents and visitors. The center was warm and inviting. There was a wonderland of educational toys for young minds to explore. Judah Cubs is ideal for working parents seeking a safe structured home like environment for their precious children. I give Judah Cubs a five-star rating as a fellow educator.

  • As a parent who's child attends Judah Cubs Daycare I must admit they do an excellent job!!! The caregivers have a structured schedule for meals, potty time, and activities. My son enjoys going to this daycare, he's happy, he's ready to learn every morning he's running to the door excited to see his friends and the trees. I've never had any issues or problems with this daycare since I've been with them. The owner is very outgoing and always looking for more ways for your child to improve and learn and progress! The daycare owner Mrs Marlene makes the daycare clean, comfortable and safe. She has cameras everywhere within the house, even outside her house. Everyday she updates me with pictures of my child and what he's doing and eating throughout the day. So if your looking for a daycare that you can trust Judah Cubs Daycare is the one.
