Kandelaki has been a dream come true. We were so nervous to commit to childcare for our 5 month old and in the last 6 months she has truly thrived there. She smiles when we get to the front door in anticipation of seeing her teachers and playing with the other babies. Across the environment (clean, playful, indoor, outdoor, on a lovely quiet block), frequent communication and app updates with photos, activities including weekly music class and story time, and the amazing staff and ownership with intimate class size, we couldn't be happier we secured a spot here and are so sad to leave (moving out of state). I only hope we can find a similar environment for our daughter in our new home. Would recommend without hesitation to anyone, it's a place where you immediately know your child will be well cared for.
Kristen FloresJul 1, 2026Our daughter has been attending Kandelaki Family Daycare since she was 3.5 months old, and we truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Viktoriya and her team. As first-time parents, sending our baby to daycare was a huge and emotional transition for all of us. From day one, Viktoriya and the staff were incredibly kind, patient, supportive, and reassuring. They were always communicative and made us feel confident that our daughter was safe, happy, and loved. What has meant the most to us is the genuine care every member of the staff has for the children. You can feel it the moment you walk through the door. Our daughter absolutely adores her caregivers and lights up every time she sees them. We also loved the frequent app updates and photos throughout the day, they gave us so much peace of mind. We are moving out of state, and one of the hardest parts of leaving is saying goodbye to this daycare. We are so grateful for the care and attention they have given our daughter during such an important stage of her life. I would recommend Kandelaki Family Daycare without hesitation. We will miss everyone there so much!
Stefanie EdgeJun 4, 2026Kandelaki Family Daycare (and now location 2) has been part of our "extended family" in Brooklyn for the past 6 years. We've had both of our children attend since they were infants. It's difficult to find people you can trust to care for your children as if they were their own. We are so lucky to have found such genuine care and warm environment that our kids enjoy going to. It's not just "babysitting" at Kandelaki. They provide activities to spark the creative mind like art instruction, musical guest performers, dance parties, and holiday specific festivities. Your children are also provided with homemade foods everyday; fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy snacks and proteins. Nutrition is not an afterthought here. The bottom line is that Kandelaki is a hidden gem among the many other subpar options in the area. If you are lucky enough to secure a spot, you should jump on it! My daughter loves "Candy-locky" especially her friends and every staff member that makes it feel like her second home. Viktoriya, Tato, Tako, and Maia have created a warm and welcoming environment that I have no problem traveling from the other side of the park to get to. It's truly the BEST! 10 stars...if I could.
