This place is without a doubt one of the best things that happened to us here in Scarsdale. Kids Are People 2 is more than a daycare — it’s a warm, loving, family-run community that becomes part of your life. From the very first day, my children were embraced with so much care, patience, and genuine affection. Michael is one of the kindest, most caring people I’ve ever met, and every single teacher shares that same warmth and dedication. You feel it the moment you walk in. The space is spotless, bright, organized, and incredibly welcoming. My kids could not wait to go back every morning — which says everything. They grew, learned, and thrived there in the most beautiful ways. Now that they’re in school, they still talk about Kids Are People 2 all the time and how much they love and miss it. That’s the kind of impact this place has. If you are looking for a daycare in Scarsdale or North New Rochelle, look no further. Kids Are People 2 is truly the best — a place where children are cherished, safe, and so deeply cared for. I will be forever grateful for what they gave my kids and our family.
Helena DonaDec 14, 2025This is the best daycare in the area—a hidden gem that stands out. My daughter has been attending KAP2 from 20 months to 5 year old. We are all very happy and blessed with our experience with them. If you're concerned that it’s a family daycare, rest assured that it truly is a "family" daycare where you feel at home, surrounded by people who care about your child. It’s also very family-friendly, openning from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm daily, with only around two weeks of closure throughout the entire year. Similar to some Montessori daycare, KAP2 mixed-age class help children work at their own pace in a natural way. The older children look after the younger ones, just like siblings. Every teacher we’ve had has been amazing, and my daughter truly likes them. KAP2 offers daily morning and afternoon outdoor activities year-round. In winter, they even can play snow sled outside. The daycare also hosts seasonal events, engages children in pretend play, and teaches math and phonics.
