Just a great atmosphere! The entire staff was kind, and you can tell they adore these kids. Our daughter has been there for about 4 months and it's been great! When you meet Lindsey, Ms. Ilanga, Ms. Francia, and the rest of the team, you'll see what I mean. I would definitely recommend. You can expect your child to actually learn things and play with other kids!
ZackJan 12, 2025I have had my little one has been at Learn and Play Islandia for 4 months now. From the first tour (I went on 3) I felt very comfortable and at ease. Lindsay the director is very knowledgeable, compassionate and easy to talk to. My little one very quickly adapted and she just loves her class and teachers, she runs in everyday excited. Her two teaches are just the best and I feel very comfortable leaving her there with them. You can tell she is genuinely lived and cared about by everyone who works there. I feel they are part of my family and community. I'm so glad I found learn and play.
GinaJan 10, 2025My kids have been coming there for about 6 months now and I can say compared to the last daycare we were enrolled in that there is more attention paid to the children. If you have a concern with anything the teachers are more than welcoming to address and update you. They take the children’s health important and work well to notify parents if something is wrong. I can say my 3 year old is much happier here and doing well with learning and being enriched. My son is 1 and absolutely adores all his teachers. The front staff are always a pleasure and very polite. Lindsey is great and has been straightforward with us since day 1 and if we have any concerns she has always been attentive and made us feel heard.
Amanda DouglasJan 9, 2025The environment and staff at learn and play have helped our child really thrive academically as well as socially. The staff is extremely kind, patient, and caring and make our son feel very comfortable and at ease. We would recommend this location of learn and play to any local families and can't say enough about all the positive things it has helped bring out in our son.
Ashley QuackenbushJan 9, 2025My daughter started attending learn and play at 7 months old. Well it was an adjustment for mom and baby. The staff and ladies who care for her during the day really care and love the children. I know I can peacefully go to work and not have to worry about the care my child is receiving. I highly recommend learn and play!
Christina BaiardiJan 9, 2025My son started coming to Learn and Play back last summer 2024. We came from a home daycare where it was very unreliable and we needed to switch. Lindsey was great from the moment she answered the phone. She made me feel comfortable and secured that my child would be safe and happy at this location. Everyday my son goes to daycare with a smile, and he runs to play immediately. Also, he has learned so much and is talking at a speed of light. Would recommend 10/10!
