  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lil’ Sharkz Daycare. After moving to the area, I spent a long time searching for a daycare that truly felt like the right fit for our family, especially one that would take my older son’s development seriously and keep him engaged and challenged. That search was not easy. I also wanted a place that would care for my children as their own without crossing boundaries or dismissing a parent’s insight—and Lil’ Sharkz exceeded every expectation. From day one, Shemika and her family-run staff made us feel welcomed, respected, and supported. They truly treat everyone like family while maintaining professionalism and clear communication. Shemika is excellent at communicating and always responsive, which gave me peace of mind and confidence in my decision. Lil’ Sharkz prioritizes school readiness not only in academics, but also in behavior, while fostering child independence in a way that builds confidence and responsibility. Both of my boys, ages 2 and 4, started at Lil’ Sharkz in the summer of 2025. In the short time my 4-year-old was enrolled, we saw tremendous academic growth. He is now at the top of his Pre-K class and has received nothing but positive feedback from his teachers and even staff at the district level. My 2-year-old has surpassed all of his developmental milestones, and that progress is absolutely thanks to the consistent reinforcement, care, and attention provided by the Lil’ Sharkz team. Lil’ Sharkz made me feel comfortable entrusting not only the safety and well-being of my children, but also their academic growth. It truly felt like having a partner in my children’s development. It really is a team effort, and I am incredibly grateful to Shemika and the entire Lil’ Sharkz Daycare family for the positive impact they’ve had on our lives.

  Phenomenal, family oriented daycare in a close-knit home setting. Heavy emphasis on child learning, development and growth, for all ages. My two child which include an infant and a “tween” attend. So happy that the reviews that I’d heard prior to enrollment, were completely true! I’d eat 10 stars if I can !

  We couldn’t be more grateful for the love, care, and attention our two little ones, a daughter (3 years old) and a son (1 year old), receive at this daycare. From the moment we walk through the door, we feel like we’re part of one big family. The warmth and genuine affection that the staff shows towards all the kids is truly remarkable. It’s clear that every child is treated with the kind of love and respect that you would expect from family, and yet they manage to maintain the highest levels of professionalism in everything they do. Our daughter has blossomed in their nurturing environment, and it’s amazing to see her come home excited about her day, eager to share what she’s learned. Our son, though younger, already looks forward to his time there, and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing they are both in such capable and loving hands. What sets this daycare apart is the balance they strike between creating a warm, family-like atmosphere while also providing structure, learning opportunities, and safety.   Choosing a daycare can be a very scary journey for parents but Lil Shark’z made the transition from home to daycare seamless!   Thank you to our Lil Sharkz DayCare family who has had our daughter since she was 5 months old. I hadn't had a child in almost 10 years and was so nervous (especially having to send her during the pandemic) Shemika and Family made me feel so comfortable.   This is the only daycare I’ve sent my daughter to. I have nothing but great things to say! The staff treated her like she was their own. Super clean!! It was her first time in daycare so she was nervous and it took some adjusting but by day 3 she was so comfortable and happy. They truly helped build her cognitive skills and further her knowledge to help get her ready for pre-school. My girl knows how to get herself dressed now and she knows all of her numbers and colors! Her vocabulary improved as well. We love Ms Shameika and all of the staff ❤️
