Recent parent reviews

  • I truly cannot say enough good things about Bero and her team at Liss Child Care. Like any parent, my kids are my LIFE. I hardly trust anyone with them, not even some close family. Taking a chance on Bero was one of the best decisions I could have made. Every day my children came home fed, well rested, clean, and happy. They didn’t just play, they learned their ABCs, colors, shapes, and so much more, preparing them well for Pre-K. As an added bonus, they even picked up Spanish along the way. My only complaint is that I can’t bring Bero home with me for 24/7 childcare. I love this woman so much! If you’re in Yonkers and looking for a daycare you can trust with the heart that walks outside your body, Bero is it.

Questions parents ask about Liss Child Care

Is Liss Child Care a licensed child care provider in New York?

Yes. Liss Child Care holds New York registration 466983, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on December 14, 2024 and current through December 13, 2028. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.

What kind of child care is Liss Child Care?

New York licenses Liss Child Care as a Group Family Day Care (GFDC), which is care in a provider's home with an assistant, for a larger group than family day care. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.

What ages does Liss Child Care care for?

New York licenses Liss Child Care for children 6 weeks to 12 years, up to 16 at one time. The age span is the state's, taken from its published capacity record.

Which school district is Liss Child Care in?

Liss Child Care sits in the Yonkers school district, in Westchester County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.

Does this page show inspection results for Liss Child Care?

No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Liss Child Care's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.

About this record

This page republishes the public license record maintained by the Office of Children and Family Services (New York City center-based programs are permitted by NYC DOHMH and published separately; NYC family, group family and school-age programs are OCFS-overseen and included here). Fields marked "Not listed" are absent from the state's published data, not hidden. Verify current license status with the agency before enrolling.
