  • My son was at little bears for 2 years and my daughter was there for after school and when school was out . Ivonne was firm which my son needed as he was a rambunctious toddler doing through his terrible 2s but the kids were always happy when we picked them up . I loved how she provided all the meals and snacks and made home cooked meals and used great ingredients. She was so accommodating to my daughter that had special needs . She always did nice crafts and activities especially for holidays .

  • Do not trust this woman with your child. Her smile is hiding a passive aggressive and bitter woman who should not be allowed to take care of children. After taking our child out of the daycare, many people in the area shared their experiences with Little Bears Daycare - not one of them had anything nice to say about Ivonne. She will talk badly about other parents when you drop off or pick up. She deflects every inquiry about her care, and becomes nasty when you question her in any way. Our child would come home with diaper rashes so horrible they would scream when we tried to change them. We her questioned about hitting (a new behavior our kid NEVER did before going there) - she blamed our child’s cousins who they had not seen in months. When we said that, she started talking in circles to avoid answering the question. Another parent who took their kid out of this daycare informed us that her child told her that Ivonne smacks the kids hands and then tells them to stop crying. I would never, EVER leave this woman alone with our child again. Unfortunately our kid couldn’t speak at the time, but when we drive by now they make sure “we’re not going to daycare right?” We assure them they will never have to see Ivonne again, but it is heartbreaking every time. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE OR THIS WOMAN. If I could give negative stars, I would. She should not be allowed to take care of children, or anyone for that matter. Don’t make the same mistake we did.

  • Little Bears has helped guide our son through learning to self feed, fall asleep at nap time, and socialize with peers. He is always happy when I pick him up, sometimes showing me what he’s been playing with or working on. Ivonne is very transparent about what she feeds them and where she shops, which I appreciate. This was a lovely place for my toddler to spend 3 days a week between the ages of 1 and 2.

  • Do not send your child to this daycare. Do not be fooled by the warm smile and upbeat personality that you are initially welcomed by the owner. Any questions about her care taking or issues that may have arisen during your time there are met with defensiveness, manipulative jargon, or trying to turn the blame onto your child or you the parent. Several times we had caught the owner in a lie which then quickly escalated to the point that we had the need to pull our daughter from that daycare before our contract was up, because we did not feel comfortable with leaving our child alone with this woman. Furthermore, the owner would talk trash about the other parents and give us excuses as to why other parents stopped bringing their children to the daycare. At best the owner is passive-aggressive, petty, and unprofessional. At worst she is manipulative, condescending, narcissistic, and a liar. After several uncomfortable interactions we decided to take our child out of daycare, and the last several weeks we were there we were met with increasing hostility and rudeness from the owner. Unfortunately for us, we found out that this is not an uncommon experience, and other members of the local community have voiced the same if not more concerns regarding the owner and the daycare itself. The decision as to why we left Little Bears Daycare has now been confirmed by the numerous other local parents and daycare facilities in the area that have had a similar or worse experience, or that they know someone who has. Likewise, others have heard nothing but bad things about “Miss Ivonne” and Little Bears Daycare. Unfortunately for us we were new to the area and desperate for care. We are writing this review in the hopes that other parents do not make the same mistake as we did. There is a reason she always seems to “have an opening” available.
