Went in for a tour of their infant program with my 9 month old baby. There was another parent (white male) on the tour and his son was accepted to start school but I was told that there was no space for my child. The white parent was told his baby can start as soon possible, when payment is received. My child was discriminated against for being a baby of color and because of form of payment.
Asharay SowellNov 3, 2024Giving this place 5 stars is a very high rating and can come off as though there is no room for improvement. I believe there is always room for improvement. With that being said, I give this establishment 5/5 because I thoroughly enjoyed my child being there throughout their summer program. The teachers were very persistent in making sure to communicate with me daily on how my son was doing. They sent multiple pictures and videos daily letting me know what he was doing. His drop offs were rough especially in the beginning since it was a new place for him; with that being said, I really appreciated that they didn't let 10 minutes go by before I received a text message update with a photo on how he was doing. What continued to amaze me was that the staff recognized that he was more comfortable with a particular teacher because we would sit with her to help him calm down. They then took the initiative to propose the idea that the same teacher should be the one to pick him up at the door. We agreed and drop offs were smooth sailing after that. The activities and what he engaged in were communicated daily. It left little room for me to question what my child was doing. My only qualm is that they are pricey for me. Just know the quality of care and communication to parents is 5/5. I would definitely recommend this daycare after my experience.
Val RSep 23, 2024I have my kid at the lower campus and his teachers and the site manager Elizabeth has been routinely communicative, caring and wonderful. All teachers truly love my child and I can tell based on how much he likes it here.
