Recent parent reviews
I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews, but this occasion requires it, with the goal of helping other parents and the institution. At no point is my intention to discredit Little Leaves, but I can't stay silent about what happened, since after this very unpleasant situation, I unfortunately cannot recommend them. From the moment we visited the institution, they never mentioned any minimum requirements for children to attend, such as needing to be able to feed themselves, among other things. On the contrary, they told us they would take care of giving him structure, helping him with potty training, and his education. To me, it was "music to my ears," but in reality I feel it was more of a sales tactic than reality, since there are other negative reviews mentioning the same thing. My son only lasted three days at Little Leaves and, by the institution's decision, was expelled due to his behavior, without them taking any responsibility for their lack of professionalism, their lack of structure for welcoming new children, and their inability to handle children who were struggling to adjust to a new environment in less than a week. They simply stopped providing service without even allowing a reasonable amount of time before making such a drastic decision — only 3 days. My son is a child who has received a high level of care and love at home, and from the moment he entered this daycare he didn't feel accepted. The teachers expected him to follow the same routine as the other children, who had already been there for a while. He had just turned two years old a month earlier, and this whole process was completely new to him. Expecting him to adapt within three days is something not even an adult manages in weeks. They made no effort whatsoever to help integrate him — they simply isolated him from the group. What kind of care is this? Are they actually qualified to care for children? My biggest complaint is that Little Leaves is not prepared to properly welcome children. A new child needs support from the teacher, a proper welcome into a new environment, and an appropriate integration into a group he doesn't know — exactly as they described it to us when they were offering us on the service, which turned out to be completely false. My son, who is a very sweet child, exhibited behavior he doesn't show at home: he was erratic, pulled hair, and bit — things he doesn't normally do — and suddenly, in this new environment, he did them repeatedly. This makes me think he wasn't being treated properly; no person changes so radically from one environment to another without a reason. Contrary to what I expected, all I received were complaints. They had me fill out a report that they didn't explain properly, and at no point did they guide me through the process. One of the teachers had the recklessness to say they needed to "keep the rest of the children in the room safe" — an extremely strong and alarming comment, considering they are dealing with children, not criminals. It's one of the most irresponsible statements I've ever heard from an education professional. To the owner, I recommend reviewing your processes for welcoming new children, being transparent about expectations and the center's limitations, and better training your staff on how to communicate with parents. I feel deeply disappointed by the treatment we received and by the unpleasant experience I went through. Who can determine a child's behavior in just three days? How would you feel if one of your own children were treated this way?
Leandro AvilaAug 7, 2026Little Leaves was amazing for our family. My child learned a great deal at this daycare including words, ABCs, counting, songs, and dancing. The teachers were great, highly attentive and professional. My little one was excited to go to school everyday. Overall, the facility was clean, teachers professional, teacher to child ratio was small, and we received constant photo updates. I highly recommend this daycare.
Patrick LeungFeb 21, 2025Little leaves daycare has been amazing for us ! All of the staff members are so responsive always available to respond to any questions I may have. They send many updates throughout the day of my child so I always know how his day is going ! They go above and beyond. Eveyeone has been so caring and so sweet. If you are on the fence don’t think twice ! This is a great place for a child to grow. They have helped my son so much and he is so much more interactive and knows so much more since he has been here !! I felt like everyone truly cares about my child. Special shout out to Ms Akerah, Ms Melissa 💕
Ronika SethiSep 29, 2024I had high hopes for Little Leaves but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Initially when we started, they gave us a whole routine for my child but sadly he learned nothing from this daycare and he was there for one whole year. No hand washing routine and no help with potty training because his teachers were constantly changing. Despite promises of a learning program, I haven’t seen any structured curriculum or meaningful educational activities. There’s no focus on developing basic skills like numbers, letters, or even social interaction through guided play. It appears that the staff members are not trained in early childhood education, as they do not incorporate any learning techniques or developmental activities into the daily routine. The daycare seems to focus only on babysitting rather than helping children develop cognitively. My child spends most of their time on unstructured play, with little encouragement to engage in activities that stimulate creativity, critical thinking, or problem-solving. I do not recommend this daycare to parents who want a nurturing and understanding environment for their children.
Sarah KimSep 29, 2024This daycare is very warm, caring, well lit and clean. The teachers provide one to one attention to my little one. They follow a very good schedule that helps regulate the little ones. They also read a lot. My baby is learning a lot of social and motor skills and she is talking like she is talking classes. Will definitely recommend this daycare to others.
Pooja NanwaniMay 18, 2024This daycare is just amazing!! The ladies here are the most caring, compassionate and warm providers I could have ever wanted for my child to be with. They were so accommodating when we started to help us all get into a new schedule as I returned to work and one that worked for my little one upon starting too. Everything was such a smooth transition and they went out of their way to meet his norms and get to know him for a little bit before having him blend into the typical day there. A few months later and my little guy loves seeing his teachers in the mornings and reaches right out to them when we arrive. As a parent there’s no better feeling of reassurance than that. I cannot say enough about them. On top of all that there’s the bonus of the fact that the facility is bright, clean, warm and welcoming. Their security at the door, check in and check out system is so reassuring as a parent. Their communication with parents is beyond what I expected. After exploring options of care for my baby I couldn’t be happier to have found Little Leaves and the reason for my review here is so that others may find it too as I had heard about it word of mouth.
