  • When you send your child to MECEC, you not only are providing them with a wonderful childhood experience filled with care, fun, and learning, but you are also gaining community. MECEC is a place where the staff and families come together to truly honor the wonder that is childhood and support everyone in "the village." The teachers are so knowledgeable and truly cherish childhood; everyone knows each child in the school and they work together to create a supportive, loving, and fun environment. Far beyond learning to write his name and identify all the planets (which he does with joy), my son has learned what it means to be a member of a community, to contribute, to be a kind friend, and the power of exploration. Cannot speak highly enough of MECEC!!!! it is a true gem and the absolute best!!

  • My son attended MECEC for three years, and we always received excellent care from the teachers and assistants; they were very attentive and mindful of his academic needs.

  • I have had both of my children attend this school, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Recently, the school welcomed new directors—both longtime teachers from within the program, and frankly, that says everything you need to know. They are, without question, some of the most genuine, caring, and dedicated people I have ever met. This school doesn’t just teach children—it stands by them. The love and care they show is real. My oldest child is now nine and still asks to come back to visit. The fact that they remember her by name and greet her with such warmth speaks volumes. My son attended both the pre-3 and pre-k classes, and leaving this school was honestly heartbreaking. If they went all the way through high school, we would never have left—no exaggeration. From day one, families are made to feel important, welcome, and supported. The staff truly walks the journey with you. Any concern—big or small—is addressed immediately, with clear communication and genuine care. If you are debating where to send your child, stop debating. This school is, without question, the best option in Dutchess County. An absolute gem.

  • I visited the facility during an open house but was not thoroughly impressed with the facility or the administrators' disheveled appearance. Despite our hesitation, we decided to apply and submitted the $100 deposit. Unfortunately, the administration failed to communicate with my spouse and me after numerous phone messages and emails. Although the facility promptly processed my $100 payment, they did not send any welcome packet or confirmation of my child starting preschool. It took them three months to respond. Given their lack of responsiveness, I questioned sending my child to this facility. We ultimately contacted another preschool and were accepted right away. The administrator in charge of this facility fell short in our opinion. Naturally, they refused to refund the $100 deposit.
