  • Joining the MindfulNEST community has been the best parenting decision we’ve ever made. Ms. Maria (& the families she works with) are wonderful and just what our young daughter needed. Our daughter attended MindfulNEST from a year old until 4 years old, when we moved out of state. We wish we could have kept her enrolled forever! You won’t find a kinder, safer & more nurturing place for your child. Our daughter loved the friends she made there & Ms Maria made every day special by preparing fresh, homemade meals & a supportive environment that encouraged our daughter to thrive. MindfulNEST is truly a one-of-a-kind place. We appreciated all the emotional regulation techniques our daughter learned there. It was the perfect foundation for her. Ms Maria continually went above & beyond for our family including extra cuddles for our daughter on difficult days & accommodating my crazy work schedule. She always showed us that she saw and understood the special little girl our daughter is. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience there. Ms Maria & the MindfulNEST community are a dream! Our daughter still asks about returning & we’d be back in a heartbeat if we could! If you want your child to be well cared for, loved for who they are & to be in an environment that fosters emotional and relational growth look no further than MindfulNEST.

  • MindfulNEST has truly been a dream for our family. When we began looking for childcare arrangements for our son over 3 years ago, I had extremely high standards being that I myself am an educator of young children. Ms. Maria and her MindfulNEST have exceeded every expectation we had for a loving, nurturing, intellectually stimulating environment for our now 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter. Ms. Maria cares for the whole child- body, mind, and soul. She welcomes only a small cohort of children into her home and they become family to one another. She cooks amazing organic meals for the children, teaches daily lessons in academic subjects such as reading, science, and math, and leads regular mindfulness meditations. Maria also goes above and beyond supporting families; she has helped me personally through mourning the loss of my mom in the most selfless and loving way. She is an angel on Earth but also one of the most intelligent people I have had the pleasure of meeting. I can say with 100% certainty that I have become a better parent from witnessing Ms. Maria’s talent with her students. Through her care, my son has grown into a caring, curious, and incredibly knowledgeable young man. If you are looking for a daycare that will serve as extension of your home but also provide an intellectually rigorous environment, look no further than MindfulNEST!

  • Our son joined the MindfulNest family when he was 2 years old and we couldn't be happier with making that decision for his education and care! Ms. Maria is wonderful teacher, caregiver and extension of our family! And our son has grown into a very confident, emotionally intelligent, and curious learner! What he has learned (in his own words): Self Affirmations: “I am smart. I am kind. I am brave, ” this is one of the many self-affirmations that he recites when trying to overcome his shyness. Education: “If I have 5 gummy bears and eat 2, I only have three left,” said the 4 year old while walking down the street without any gummy bears. Mindfulness: “Dragon Breath.” His Conscious breathing technique that helps to calm down or de-escalate when scared or concerns. What he says: “I want to get this to scare Ms. Maria with this,” said while posing in his skeleton sweater. “Ms. Maria teached me,” is usually response to the ever so frequent “how did you learn that?” What I know: Three years ago we were introduced to MindfulNEST, a home that is open to kids (and families) with individualized attention to ensure each child develops and learns in there own way. Best choice we could have ever made for his care! Highly recommend!!!

  • My daughter’s journey of love started when Maria started taking care of my daughter and loving her as her own daughter, when she was only six weeks old until September 2021, turning 5 years old shortly. These years, I am truly grateful to have Maria in my life to nurture my daughter, and to back me up spiritually like a sister. She was such a perfect role model to my child and to me. Maria is someone who has a voice and the heart of an angel. But also the angel who would stand for your kid with anyone, using her expert and critical knowledge. She was there to calm me with breathing exercises and gave me clear directions, when I was so lost with my daughter’s medical condition; Also she was the one who did a marriage counseling for us in her home, like she did for other married couples before, only for fighting for the best for your kid; I remember the night I was about to fly with my family for vacation, my daughter smelled so good , then I knew Maria actually took a bath for her during the day in order to save my time- she was just that sweet and thoughtful for you and your family. As for the growth of my daughter in MindfulNest Center, I was amazed when my daughter would once in a while teach me how to breathe, when she saw I was mad. lol; She also told me how to guide some insects back to the gardens as Ms. Maria taught her; She told me to pray for someone when someone is sick. As of today, she’s grown to be an exceptionally independent and caring girl to me and to small kids, and I gave all these credits to Ms. Maria. I sincerely recommend MindfulNest as the choice of your Daycare!

  • The MindfulNEST Center was a gift from the heavens to me. Maria is a treasure. Every mother needs a Maria in their lives, someone to love their kids but also love, nurture, give insight and encouragement to the mother. She is filled with Wisdom and truly has a calling to protect the weak and the vulnerable. She treats every child with honor. Every child is truly valued and so is every parent. She taught me personally to slow down. When my child hugs me not to release my hug until the child does. She listens deeply and just watching her work with children changes you. There is no other place that I would recommend more highly than the MindfulNest center. I wish the center went through high school, maybe someday it will, but for now, if you have a child from 0-5 sending them to the Mindfulnest center is like placing them in the hands of an Angel.
