  I am sharing our experience to help other families navigate their enrollment process. Originally, we were quoted a monthly tuition of $1,675, which included a $100 military discount. However, once our subsidy through was approved, the provider rescinded this discount and raised the rate to $1,775. When we addressed our dissatisfaction regarding our 13.5months here, the provider explicitly told us that we were welcome to withdraw our child if we were unhappy with her care. However, after we made the decision to leave, she penalized us by issuing unexpected charges, including a "due for termination" fee of $877.50 in which this amount was nowhere on her contract. In addition, her excuse for that amount was because she turned away other parents (find that hard to believe). Upon reviewing our paperwork, I discovered that handwritten notes ("/ MCCYN $995") had been added to the contract next to my original $780 figure to reach that higher total without my prior knowledge or consent. Furthermore, as seen in my comparison doc, she is charging us a late fee on an invoice dated March 1st. However, we were never even provided with an invoice until mid-March. Charging a late penalty before an invoice is even sent makes absolutely no logical sense. While the provider was patient during government billing cycles, the combination of altered documents, unlisted exit fees, retroactive late charges, and conflicting communication made our departure incredibly stressful. I highly recommend that future families request immediate copies of all signed documents and clarify all exit policies in writing. Extremely disappointed as this was our first daycare we've experienced.

  We love Miss Dawn's Child Care! Our son started in the infant room at 6 months old and is now 14 months. His teachers Ms. Fifi and Ms. Ruth show care, warmth, and get genuinely excited when he gets dropped off in the morning and when he hits each milestone. Dawn is communicative and accommodating. I always felt that my son is safe and in good hands.
