  • I cannot give this place enough stars! I wish I could hug all the teachers everyday. We have had the most magical experience with our toddler (then 18month old) here! When we were deciding whether to send our son here or not, I came to observe the class. I was immediately struck with how calm the environment is, and how respectful the teachers interact with the kids. Our son has blossomed into such a kind, curious, gentle, and adventurous kid. This place is more than just a daycare/preschool/childcare center. The teachers are warm and supportive, and have spent so much extra time with us to help our son through some typical toddler stuff like challenging behavior and toileting. The environment is cozy, toddler sized, inspires curiosity, and focused independent play. We are also so grateful to be able to utilize the CCAP through nys to help with tuition cost. This allows us access to the most perfect care for our family.

  • It's hard to put into words what Montessori can do for a kid in ways that go far beyond their mastery of skills-- it helps to set the foundation for who they are as people and how they engage with the world. Namaste is a special place and I feel really fortunate that it was a huge part of my kids' runway into the world.

  • We highly recommend Namaste as a learning environment for your child if you are looking for a place that supports them socially, emotionally, and academically. Our children formed close and dear friendships that they still maintain today. They loved their teachers and really looked forward to going to school. They had Montessori trained teachers guide their education with traditional hands on materials that allowed the children to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, the connections in our world, the importance of care of each other and the environment, as well as becoming strong readers. They are curious learners as a result of their time at NMS, and for that we are so grateful.

  • My son currently attends Namaste and has been for a little over a year. He was with us in our home until 18 months, and I wanted to be sure he would be in good hands for a majority of the day. From the visit, to the first day, and now an year in, I can't think of another place I would want to send my child. He is so happy there: he talks about his friends, he shares how much he likes his teachers (the guide in his classroom has been there for over a decade - it was important for me to know that the people working there are also long-term and they're happy there), he walks in with so much confidence every morning. My child has grown so much over the past year - from toileting on his own, to dressing on his own, to learning patience, trusting other adults and children, feeding the goats his leftover lunch, spending time outside, interacting with children from a wide age-range - Namaste has it all. I am looking forward to many more years with them, and sending future children of mine there. I cannot recommend it enough. Logistically, the hours work for my family, there is after-school and occasional use hours, the families are kind, there's opportunities for parents to be involved with the community, the school breaks when the district breaks, and they are transparent about the schedule so you can plan around school being closed. There are different payment options. The school updates parents regularly on classroom happenings, and I get pictures of my child in his "natural habitat" regularly. They provide healthy snacks a few times a day.

  • This school definitely puts kids first! The director and teachers are knowledgeable, nurturing, and dedicated. What a wonderful, rich learning environment that also meets the needs of working families with year round programming and childcare hours.

  • Committed to meeting the needs of all students; employs and trains responsible, committed and passionate teachers.
