New Day was a great pre-k for my son, and Miss Cindy was an amazing teacher!

Eddie LeeNov 10, 2025Really would like my son to go here they called me cause I was waiting list and said we have space and went for a tour and I said I would like to go and they said we will call you and a week later still waiting I called and said we sorry the spot is closed cause the other kid isn’t leaving and could have had other chances to still look very sad they did that
CarolynFeb 15, 2025Very unprofessional assistant manager very anger about being under staff and I do understand but the child and parents shouldn't see your anger over it. They are very inconsistent due to this. I have had over three days without any prior warning. They would message me an hour dropping my child off that they are closing early. They said they would reimburse me for the time. Never did. Then when I choose to remove my child from this care they stole my property then the teacher had lied to me about it saying his diaper were for everyone. At the beginning I should've seen the red flag I asked for a walk through I was shown only the class room and was not explained anything from sign in sheet or that I would have to bring in diapers and wipes. When I spoke with the director of the child care she said she would spend the day "looking" for my property even though I've seen it opened and being used for whoever else. I never got a call back or heard anything about my property. She had my phone number and the paper stating about the lying employee and the anger assistant manager she acted like she couldn't reach me. Not professional on any level I would not recommend.
Olivia BenderDec 10, 2022The entire staff is awesome and they always make you and your family feel welcomed! We're so sad to be leaving them, but I would recommend them to anyone looking for child care.
Shannon MarieOct 3, 2018Perfect place to entrust your children. The staff is caring, nuturing and help your child in every way possible to grow and develop. We love everyone here!

- Yes. New Day Children's Center holds New York registration 39589, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on July 1, 2023 and current through June 30, 2027. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.
What kind of child care is New Day Children's Center?
- New York licenses New Day Children's Center as a Day Care Center (DCC), which is centre-based care in non-residential premises. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.
What ages does New Day Children's Center care for?
- New York licenses New Day Children's Center for 16 infant places, 28 toddler places, 72 preschool places and 30 school-age places. Each figure is a ceiling the state set, not current enrolment.

- New Day Children's Center sits in the Watertown school district, in Jefferson County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.
Does this page show inspection results for New Day Children's Center?
- No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects New Day Children's Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
