My granddaughter is cared for here, and the staff are excellent! She has special needs and they always make sure she is taken care of. To the person that is complaining about policy changes and still having to pay for half….dis you ever stop to think about how the daycare is funded? That the policy changes are beyond the staff’s control? Or even how much of their own money they put into making sure the children are well-cared for and happy? They barely make minimum wage! If you can find quality daycare cheaper somewhere else you should do so. Not every daycare can accept aid for lower income working parents, but this one does. And it truly makes a difference!
Tracy BennettAug 14, 2025If you are looking to break the bank and go broke this is the place for you. I have two children 9 and 10 this would have been the fifth year that they have attended this daycare. We pulled our children out of this program because of price increases and policy changes. It has gotten to be to expensive at $610 a week for the two school aged children. The policy change that really burned the bridge between us and the program was if you wanted to take vacation with your children during summer break you still have to pay 50% for the week that you are not there. When before for the past four years if you gave them a month notice you didn’t have to pay anything for the week that you child didn’t attend. The teachers, some are great some are ok some are just down right horrible and mean. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Please do yourself a favor and shop around there are some better places to go that offer better quality and better services that will engage in your child’s development and needs. 6/13/2025 4 year participation
Christopher GuarinoJun 13, 2025As an employee and a parent I love that my boys 6 and 2 get great quality care! The teachers and staff are wonderful and caring. OCP is our second family. I love that I walk in everyday to get my children and I am greeted with a hello and a smile. I love that I know my children are loved and cared for everyday. I wouldn’t want them anywhere other then Our Children’s Place Clifton Springs.

- Yes. Our Children's Place holds New York registration 105304, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on November 14, 2023 and current through November 13, 2027. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.
What kind of child care is Our Children's Place?

- Our Children's Place sits in the Phelps-Clifton school district, in Ontario County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.
Does this page show inspection results for Our Children's Place?
- No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Our Children's Place's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
