  • We sent our youngest Freya there. They were very professional and caring towards her. In the end, we decided to withdraw her as we felt she was just a little bit too young- and they couldn’t have been nicer about understanding.

  • My daughter attended for two years and absolutely loved it—she never cried going in, and she still misses it to this day. So do we! After moving, we’ve been searching for a new child care center, but nothing has come close to matching the warmth, care, and quality of this one. She met her very first amazing teacher here and made her best friends—friends she still talks about and considers her closest. This place left a lasting impact on all of us. A special thank you to Courtney, who was always incredibly responsive and flexible with both emails and calls. Her support made everything so much easier. We will always miss this place. I only wish I could send my son here too.

  • Parkwood has provided a great experience for our family. All of the teachers are so welcoming and truly care for all of the kids in their room. We were nervous transitioning from home care into a daycare but with help and support from Parkwood our child started to thrive in their new environment. We love that they get a lot of exposure to different toys and crafts and sensory items throughout the week. As the director, Courtney is very friendly and has great open communication on any questions, issues or accommodations we have needed. We also get a lot of updates and photos on their activities throughout the day which makes you feel good when you know they are having fun and being well cared for! We are so thankful to have found Parkwood and can't wait to see how our child grows in the toddler room this year!

  • We switched to Parkwood from a larger childcare center which was a national chain...and couldn't be happier! We have always preferred a smaller childcare center and Parkwood has met all our expectations, and then some. The staff is top notch. The Director, Courtney, is so kind and excellent at communicating/ answering any question we have. You can tell she takes pride in making sure that the center is meeting the needs of the families and kids while also being a great place to work (because happy staff are key to everything!). Our son's teachers, Clare and Bethany, are absolutely wonderful. They are always happy, engaging with all the kids, and you can tell they truly love caring for our son and doting on him all day long. (They also send lots of updates, with tons of cute photos, which is so nice). A few other pluses in our mind are the rooms - they aren't linoleum boxes. They have a mix of carpeting and linoleum which makes them feel much more home-like and welcoming. We also love(!) that the teachers will allow our son to contact nap on them (either just holding him or babywearing him) and that they take the kids out for neighborhood walks in normal strollers and babycarriers. For us, these efforts add to the home-like feel for the center and show the individualized attention our son (and all the babies) gets. Thank you Courtney, Clare, and Bethany - you all are wonderful and we are so happy to have you caring for our little guy!

  • We feel very fortunate to have found Parkwood for our childcare needs. They patiently and kindly helped us transition our child to a daycare setting and worked with us on everything from naps to potty training. My child looks forward to coming to "school" every day and LOVES the teachers and all the friends they have made. The teachers are incredibly sweet and patient with all the kids. I appreciate how communicative they are with updates throughout the day. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to leave our child here, knowing that they will have a great day. Thank you, Parkwood!

  • 110% recommend! Kind, loving, compassionate space for kiddos. While it is not a Montessori School, by certification, it is inspired by the Montessori model. The school is very "homey", kid-centered and encourages self-directed and collaborative play. After several transitions through other childcare options, my daughter is flourishing in this environment. As the center grows, they have hopes of updating indoor and outdoor areas, etc. If you're looking for childcare, definitely worth a visit and serious consideration. Parkwood is by far the best school/center we've found in the area.
