I am so thankful for Ms. Janice and her team! My child has been going for 3 years, since she was an infant, and they have always been extremely nurturing and reliable. Ms. Janice’s passion for caring for children really shows, she goes above and beyond for all of them. Highly recommend this daycare ❤️
arielle dMay 6, 2026I’m sharing my experience so other parents, especially single parents with demanding and inflexible work schedules, can make an informed decision. I arranged and paid in advance for agreed-upon childcare, including overnight care. Shortly after, I was told those days would no longer be accommodated, which left me without coverage on short notice. When I calmly asked about reimbursement for unused time, the situation escalated and care was ended immediately. During my time using this childcare, I also experienced ongoing concerns with consistency and professionalism. There were instances where my child’s bottles were returned in an unsanitary condition, and communication around scheduling and payments was not always clear or consistent. Despite following through with payments as requested, there were still issues and complaints that made the experience feel unstable. For parents who rely on dependable childcare especially those who do not have flexibility with their work reliability, clear communication, and professionalism are extremely important. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage parents to ask detailed questions upfront about scheduling, payment expectations, and overall consistency before committing. I would like to give a shout out to Daniella! She works so hard and has so much patience with the children. (1/2)

Sheena BarbourOct 12, 2024Ms. Janice and her staff are amazing! The kids are active and happy. When I pick him up he immediately starts talking about what he ate and what day it is and who he played with. I’m grateful to have found such an amazing safe space so close to home!
Nitsa CheryNov 5, 2023I usually do not leave reviews however when it comes to kids it is very important for parents to be well aware of where they choose to leave there kids especially since we count on the “daycare” to be a big help and stress relief. THIS PLACE IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY AS I WILL EXPLAIN MANY REASON WHY… to begin with the daycare owner works Amazon flex while running a daycare with several kids. She asks several questions regarding parents scheduling so that she can manage working Amazon flex while leaving the kids attended with her teenage daughters. This daycare owner claims she has workers which is very ALARMING that she has never presented them to us. I am under the assumptions that the “workers” are her teenage daughters because she had told me once before that they do “help with kids”. This worried me a lot because the purpose of paying for childcare is for a professional license worker to care of my kids.Secondly, when I picked up my child I seen a cat on top of the kitchen counter where kids foods are being prepped which is highly unsanitary. Lastly, at the time of enrollment, I was aware of the administration fee and supplies fee which I paid. My only concern was that she started creating so many extra fees that was running a whole on my pockets… I would of at least appreciated if all the “fees” was to be mentioned when I signed the contract. This way I had the option to agree and continue working with her or just not continue the process. Being the fact that she works Amazon flex while leaving the kids with her teenage daughters and all of these extra fees she started mentioning only indicates that the lady is only out for the money. I do not recommend this daycare to any parent. I believe you are seeking a responsible daycare. Where there is professional child care licensed workers with a background check, workers who are caring and loving to our kids. A well sanitized place where the kids can’t easily get contaminated by animal bacteria (she has a cat and two dogs). As I single parent I can not easily call out of work to take care of my sick child which I’m pretty sure most parents can also relate. To conclude, the daycare is an actual basement which is also concerned me because to my knowledge it is not safe for kids to be in a basement which I strongly disbelief the city approved this location. As it had a long dark stairway which leads to the “daycare” following a un-sanitized small kitchen. The daycare is a very small space which will make a difficult for a kid to feel at ease. Thanks for taking your time for reading my review as the other reviews can easily be faked by family members and friends. There is better daycare then this place.
jaylene rodriguezOct 10, 2022Play and Grow Child Care Is a great day care. The children are loved and well cared for. They provide a fun, creative learning environment for the children. The space is clean, bright and well maintained. The care givers are warm and welcoming and they work so well with the children. I would definitely recommend Play and Grow Childcare to any parent looking for a center that truly takes care of their loved ones.
