We’ve had such a great experience at Playtivity. Margaret and the team are the real deal. It’s obvious they care about kids’ development, not just keeping them alive and occupied (which, to be fair, is a strong baseline). Our son has always been more of an observer in group settings, and we’ve watched him actually start participating here. They truly meet kids where they are, but gently push them to expand what they can do. There’s a big emphasis on independence, and it genuinely feels like they’re helping prepare kids to be little humans in the world. Thank you Margaret, Chris, and Jordyn for being so wonderful!

My daughter initially started with half days but she loved it so much we moved to full days. I’m thrilled with all the new skills and activities she engages in on a daily basis. Margaret, Chris and Jordyn are wonderfully attentive and incredibly skilled in what they do. And not only help my daughter learn but teach us as parents too! I highly recommend PlayTivity!

Margaret and Chris (and Jordyn) are not only nurturing caregivers, but highly engaged teachers who are serious about my daughter's development and learning. I don't mean this in an "achievement-driven" way that would be developmentally inappropriate for daycare-aged children, but that they take seriously the fact that the "work of children is play." My daughter's independence and confidence has improved, and I've made a whole new group of parent friends because of the close-knit community Margaret and Chris create. We are SO grateful for their commitment to our city and our city's children.

Our son comes home happy, curious and very clearly prepared for what’s ahead (pre-K). The curriculum was such a perfect blend of play, education, and encouraging independence. From the moment we transitioned him in, it was clear that this is a place where children are truly seen, valued, and loved. The staff is exceptional—genuinely kind, patient, and deeply committed to nurturing each child’s growth through thoughtful, play-based learning. Our son has grown and thrived at Playtivity. The days are filled with creative activities, hands-on learning, and lots of time to explore and play, indoors and outdoors. He loves time in the outdoor play area and when Chris brings out the guitar—those music sessions light him up with joy. He’s made so many wonderful friends, and we’ve seen such a beautiful boost in his confidence since starting here. We are so thankful to be part of such a communicative, loving, and inspiring community.
