  • The staff is fantastic

  • I would think twice about placing your child here. The safety rules are very lax and they can’t get off their phones long enough to watch the kids. Staff are managed by incompetent Directors who worry more about themselves than the kids. They just lost staff who couldn’t take it anymore. Shameful.

  • I don't know how the place is in general, as we were there for an evaluation. The receptionist was very kind. The evaluators were everything! Respectful, inclusive, extremely thorough in how they explained things, helped me to understand and ask any questions. They were very good with my child, being on his level to help get through the evaluation and not just test him. They even made his time there exciting and happy. No anger, no tears, no frustrations. Going in I was very nervous, having no idea what to expect. They helped make the entire experience very warm, welcoming, and wonderful. I cannot thank them enough for having been so kind and amazing during the entire period of time.

Questions parents ask about Racker

Is Racker a licensed child care provider in New York?

Yes. Racker holds New York registration 173555, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on December 12, 2023 and current through December 11, 2027. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.

What kind of child care is Racker?

New York licenses Racker as a Day Care Center (DCC), which is centre-based care in non-residential premises. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.

What ages does Racker care for?

New York licenses Racker for 85 preschool places. Each figure is a ceiling the state set, not current enrolment.

Which school district is Racker in?

Racker sits in the Cortland school district, in Cortland County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.

Does this page show inspection results for Racker?

No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Racker's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
