  Stellar Tots has been nothing short of a dream come true for our family. My 18-month-old twins started here, and by the time they were ready to move on, they were not only thriving socially and emotionally but also completely prepared for kindergarten. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to their educational journey. The environment is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like an extension of home. I loved that it was a home-based preschool program rather than a large institutional daycare — my kids have their whole lives to experience that system, and I wanted them to begin in a nurturing, personalized setting. Stella Tots delivered exactly that. The food was another highlight — healthy, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared every day. As a parent, it gave me such peace of mind knowing that my children were eating well and developing healthy habits from such a young age. And of course, Stella herself is the heart and soul of the program. She is an extraordinary teacher — patient, kind, and deeply dedicated to the children’s growth. Her ability to make learning fun while also instilling structure and discipline is truly a gift. My twins blossomed under her guidance, and I will always be grateful for the love and care she poured into them. I wholeheartedly recommend Stella Tots to any parent looking for a place where their children will be cared for, nourished, and truly set up for success. We feel so lucky that our twins had this experience — it was the best decision we could have made for our family.

  My son began at Stellar Tots when he was 12 months old and continued until he was almost 3. Prior to beginning at Stella’s, my son had a full time nanny but we wanted him to be in a more academic and social environment. Stella’s was the perfect fit. Some highlights: - Miss Stella is a NYS certified teacher, and she is also a mom of three. She is smart, caring, and attentive. Stella is arguably the number one selling point of Stellar Tots! She is excellent. - The kids follow a predictable daily routine: breakfast, morning meeting, indoor free play, snack, outdoor free play, lunch, quiet time/nap, snack, and then more free play (usually outdoors again if the weather permits). My son thrived with this daily structure and napped really well. - Miss Stella runs morning meeting just like teachers at school. The kids review the calendar, the weather, and they read books every day. My son could name all the days of the week and months of the year before he turned two! - Miss Stella works with the kids one on one and/or in a small group every day. Usually they complete some sort of cute arts and craft activity (e.g. cut and paste snowman) or work on a developmentally appropriate skill (e.g. color in the first letter of their first name using a dot marker). My son always brought his work home and we loved displaying his creations on the fridge. - Miss Stella provides breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. There is excellent variety in the foods offered and the meals always include some kind of fruit and/or vegetable (e.g. waffles with blueberries, shredded chicken with broccoli). My son isn’t a picky eater, and I think Stella is a big part of that. - There is an interactive music class every Wednesday with Miss Jenny. The kids get to sing, dance, and play with real acoustic instruments. - Miss Stella has a great selection of toys both indoors and outdoors. The large playground in the backyard is awesome. My son was excited and happy to go to Stella’s each morning. - Miss Stella plans many special activities for the kids and their families. During our time at Stellar Tots, there was pumpkin picking, a visit from Santa, a fire truck tour, mother’s and father’s day parties, and a graduation ceremony just to name a few. - Miss Stella is an excellent communicator. All parents are part of a group chat and receive daily updates, tons of pictures, and a description of the daily menu. Stella would send me individual texts when needed with reminders or to let me know when my son was having an especially good or bad day. I loved having so much transparency and felt I was part of my son’s day. - Miss Stella is incredibly responsive and flexible to the needs of the individual children under her care. She was receptive to my requests to avoid certain foods or prep foods in a certain way to ease my worries about choking. Stella was also a valued teammate when I potty trained my son, and she took care to mimic the same approach I was using at home. She truly went above and beyond! In summary, I highly recommend Stellar Tots to anyone looking for full or part time care for their little one. Stellar Tots combines all the academic and social benefits of a preschool with the loving and personal atmosphere of a home. My son had an incredible two years, and we will miss Stella very much!

  If you are looking for a safe place to mold your child into a kind, brave, creative, confident kid, you are DONE with your search! My daughter Grace started at Stellar Tots at 16 mo., she is now 4 years old and she LOVES going to "school". The teachers there are so warm and kind. She has learned SO much and is more than prepared for pre-k, thanks to Ms. Stella. Grace has learned to eat all kinds of different foods and is NOT a picky eater because of the diverse menu Ms. Stella puts together every day. The kids eat better than we do! The daycare provides a yummy breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack. Always healthy, organic options, fresh fruits and milk. Grace has learned to be caring, kind, share with others really well and just be a kid. I will miss being a part of the Stellar Tots family. <3

  Our two-year-old son has been going to Stellar Tots since he was 6 months old. From day one, we have felt completely comfortable leaving him with Miss Stella. I went back to work full-time recently and we are totally blown away at his growth and development since he started going every day. He is progressing in so many different areas and we owe it all to Miss Stella and her team. She treats him as if he is her own child, and we really appreciate the caring and fun environment that she provides for him. We feel so lucky that we can drop him off and know that he will be taken care of and fed a wide variety of healthy, organic foods. Not having to pack food for him every day is a HUGE! We are looking forward to watching him flourish and grow as he spends more time there.

  Stellar Tots is simply the best! Our son was enrolled when he was 13 months old - previously he was with a different daycare - and I wish we had enrolled sooner. It's quite comforting to know that he is happy, healthy, learning, having fun AND eating delicious meals. Stella opens her home and heart to our son and in return he arrives with a smile and leaves with a smile. I would highly recommend Stellar Tots to anyone looking for childcare!

  Sending our son to Stellar Tots is one of the best decisions we've ever made. We originally enrolled our son in a brick and mortar, franchised daycare and he was miserable. As parents we were distraught and sick with worry because every day our baby was coming home with bloodshot eyes. Since enrolling him (at 8 months old) in Stellar Tots, all of our fears have been eliminated. He is happy to be handed over each morning, he is happy when we pick him up. We feel like he has a second family with the teachers at Stellar Tots. He is learning so much from watching the older kids around him, we truly believe he is advancing faster than he would in a different setting. My husband and I can now go to work and trust our son is in the best hands, we don't need to constantly check on him or call to see how he is because we KNOW he is good. Without a doubt, Stellar Tots will be the best decision you can make as a parent for your child. It is a warm, loving, educational, thriving environment and we plan to send our son here for many years to come.
