My partner and I just completed an instacart order for the owners of the Jay Street location. Upon delivery there were no specific instructions listed so we delivered the large amount of groceries (4 heavy bags & 13 gallons of milk/juice) to the front door (as the app tells you to do). When we finished unloading the groceries and about to call the customer to meet them- we were interrupted by a gentleman who accused us of abandoning the groceries and asking us why were weren’t doing things differently. He initially failed to introduce himself as the owner of the facility but continued to lecture my partner and I (20-something adults who live in downtown Rochester) on the dangers of leaving food in the city. We weren’t even able to complete our phone call to the customer who made the order or explain ourselves to this man. He consistently interrupted us as we were trying to explain that we were just doing our jobs and that there is a process to follow but he was blatantly disrespecting our work. Despite this, we remained respectful and brought the groceries further indoors (per the mans request). If you’re not gonna tip and then harass your delivery drivers- buy your own groceries.

It is the same girl and no resolution has been made so this issue stops happening. When i called and spoke to her she was rude and took no responsibility. Management has done NOTHING.
