This daycare truly lives up to these 5 stars - the staff deeply cares about the children, they make the learning aspects fun. The location is quaint, with lots of gated outside play spaces. Overall I would recommend to all who ask.
Morgan VatalaroAug 23, 2022My daughter has been attending this daycare since 4 months old to current(18 months), we have ALWAYS had a great experience with the center as a whole. The staff has always been very attentitive and takes her needs and our concerns very seriously. If ever I need anything they are always on top of it. They make sure my daughter has a fun, AND educational experience every single day. I would highly recommend this daycare to all family and friends.
Chris SheehanFeb 11, 2021Great atmosphere with attentive and caring teachers. Very comfortable when I drop my kids off and trust that they will learn, have fun, and BE SAFE.
Matthew MinnsJan 7, 2020Unfortunately the experience that we had with Tendercare in Selkirk NY was nothing short of unprofessional and completely unacceptable. Rating them as “one star” is only because we could not go lower. From their lack of training to the fact that they are always in a scramble to have enough help in the classrooms to their uncompassionate way if handling children. I could denote so many different situations that we encountered while we were there for the few short months we were. We pulled the baby out and could not have done it quick enough. My hope is , is that the questionable care my granddaughter received there will not leave a lasting impression on her emotional and mental development. I throughly recommend that anyone considering this establishment really do your homework and do not take what you are being told at face value.

What kind of child care is Tendercare Child Center?

- No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects Tendercare Child Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
