  • Ms. Ynelda, Jailene and the rest of the teaching staff at Guiding Star Daycare set a new standard for daycare. Our son started at 1 and while I was extremely nervous about the idea of him going to school, everyone at Guiding Star made me feel like our son was taken care of like their own. They happily prepared the lunches and snacks I sent with him, and gave him the support to feel safe in a new space while also giving him opportunities to explore, get comfortable around other kids, and eventually start expressing his personality even more. His language skyrocketed with their help (he learned over 100 words by 1.5 years old!) and their curriculum is the perfect blend of education, arts and crafts and fun! Contact her ASAP if you want the absolute best for your child!

  • Guiding Star Daycare is one of the best daycares my siblings go to. They help them learn so many different things like writing essays, doing math, and getting help with schoolwork. They also teach them sign language and other things the kids actually want to learn. They even pick the kids up from school, which helps a lot. The people who take care of the kids are very understanding, especially if you’re late picking them up. They are really good with the kids and make them feel safe and cared for. I struggled to find a nice and productive daycare, but Guiding Star Daycare has been great for my siblings.

  • We absolutely loved The Guiding Star Daycare. Our son started there when he was 1 year old and it was a wonderful experience. You can really feel the care and attention Ynelda puts into the children and into hiring her amazing team. The communication was great. We always felt informed and completely safe sending him there. The environment is warm, nurturing, and well-organized, with a strong focus on learning through play, routines, and age-appropriate activities. Our son learned so much in such a short time, both developmentally and socially. He was always happy to go. Jailene was our son’s absolute favorite. He truly adores her, and it’s clear to us how much she genuinely cared about him too. For parents looking for a daycare that is safe, communicative, loving, educational, and run by people who treat your child like their own, The Guiding Star Daycare is truly amazing. We are so grateful for the foundation they helped build for our son and would recommend them without hesitation to any family.

  • My son has been attending The Guiding Star Daycare for a little over a year now, and he has reached more milestones than I could have ever imagined at such a young age. I’ve always appreciated the attention they devote to education—my son is now able to communicate, count, recite the alphabet along with phonics, identify colors and shapes, and engage with a variety of other educational materials. On every holiday, he comes home with thoughtful goodies, beautiful artwork, and celebrations that reflect the spirit of the season. It’s also clear, even at home, how much care they put into teaching him manners and social skills. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind—always attentive and responsive to any needs or concerns I may have. Most importantly, I always feel confident that my son is safe, well cared for, and in great hands. I’m truly grateful for the positive impact The Guiding Star has had on his growth and development.

  • This daycare and the staff are amazing !!!! We placed our son at guiding star daycare when he was only 1 1/2 years old. We were told at a previous daycare that he was struggling with his speech and within a few weeks we noticed how much his communication was improving both verbally and non verbally. My son is currently 2 1/2 years old and he knows his numbers, shapes, colors, identifying animals, animal sounds and body parts. They also teach him sign language. I also enjoy the school based routine ynelda has the children following daily, the birthday celebrations and holiday festivities that are thrown throughout the year. I would recommend this daycare to anyone with littles! We know that when we drop our son off he is in good and loving hands.

  • For Six years (3 kids) I have had the pleasure of experiencing the daycare's environment, which is both fun and loving. The home like layout, compassionate and nurturing atmosphere creates a positive space for children. The inclusion of an educational, academic curriculum ensures a well-rounded development, while the focus on social skills enhances the overall experience. I highly recommend The Guiding Star to parents seeking a caring and enriching daycare setting.
