  Following up on my initial review a year ago, I wanted to add how over this past year Indylab has expanded our son’s horizons in ways we didn’t think was possible from a preschool program.   Hands down the best decision we could have made for our little one. While researching preschools and daycares, we were focused on finding a place for our pandemic firstborn to be safe and learn to socialize. We found exactly that and more with The Indy Lab. The educational component and learning through play has been incredible. We've been amazed at the benefits/results of playful literacy - within the first week we could see the advancement in speech, communication, observation and vocabulary. Frida (the director) and her team are absolutely wonderful - professional, caring - and the fact that my little one asks to go to school speaks volumes to the environment that's been cultivated there. I can't say enough good things about The Indy Lab. We just absolutely love it and are so happy that we found it!

  My husband and I are transplants to Tarrytown and barely knew anyone/ had a network in Westchester. The Indy Lab was a new school when we started and we are blessed to have found them. The curriculum was designed by speech pathologists and has a focus on language development and different modes for children to learn language (multi-sensory learning). All of the teachers are engaging and focus on interactive play which is something as a parent I am lacking. It's great to see the amazing ways they work with children to get them to think and relate in different ways. I highly recommend this program - teachers are approachable and reasonable with specific requests. There is also a social aspect for parents and/or kids to connect outside of school to build a network in the community.
