TLE has been the absolute best experience for our 3 year old son. The teachers are all so caring, professional, and truly devoted to learning! My son has grown so much in the last year and I am so thankful for all of the learning programs they have at TLE. Highly recommend and we are so thankful for their positive impact on our child and family!
The Talman'sJun 9, 2026We have had such a wonderful experience at The Learning Experience. As a parent, it’s such a comforting feeling knowing your child is going somewhere they are truly cared for, safe, happy, and excited to be every day. The staff has always been so kind, patient, and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the children. My son has learned so much socially and educationally since attending, and it’s been amazing watching his confidence grow. The facility is clean, organized, and creates such a positive environment for kids to learn and thrive. Communication with parents has also been great, which gives me so much peace of mind throughout the day. We’re so grateful for everyone at The Learning Experience and highly recommend them to any parent looking for a loving and engaging daycare!
Sandra GMay 20, 2026My granddaughter has been coming to TLE since she was four months old (2023) and we couldn't be happier! The staff is first rate, knowledgeable about children, kind and thoughtful. Meals are well balanced and nutritious. Playground is well kept and monitored. Overall an A+ for TLE!
Laura SApr 28, 2026My daughter thrived at TLE — growing, learning, and forming bonds that I know will stay with her for years to come. We’ve appreciated every drop-off, every adorable art project, and every milestone she’s reached along the way. The educational curriculum is thoughtful and engaging, and the amount of outside time the kids get is such a bonus. She’s come home excited about everything she’s learned and created. We also loved how consistently the staff kept us updated through photos and messages in the school app — it made us feel involved in her day even when we couldn’t be there. We’re so grateful for the role the entire team has played in these early, important years. I would absolutely recommend this daycare to any family looking for a nurturing, reliable, and genuinely caring environment.
Sarah T - Hudson Valley GuideDec 2, 2025I’ve had 3 kids go to school at The Learning Experience. Two have graduated and one is in preschool at TLE. We’ve been in pretty much every class at this point and have always had a great experience. There is very little turnover and the teachers truly love the kids. I’m continually amazed at how much they really care. The curriculum is also incredible and my two older kids were so prepared to start kindergarten.
Meghan KaplanJul 7, 2025I can’t express how wonderful TLE Yorktown is! From the moment we walked in with my son at just 3 months old, we have been greeted by the warmest and most friendly staff. Everyone is so welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about the children. The staff is not just professional, but also passionate about their work, which is evident in the various activities they plan! They take the time to get to know each child individually and create a nurturing yet challenging age-appropriate environment. His happiness at pick-up confirms what we see in their app (which is a highlight of our day!) – he loves being at TLE. Highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place where their child will thrive and you can feel at ease!

Questions parents ask about The Learning Experience
Is The Learning Experience a licensed child care provider in New York?
- Yes. The Learning Experience holds New York registration 423050, listed as "LICENSE" by the Office of Children and Family Services, issued on March 30, 2024 and current through March 29, 2028. Confirm current standing with OCFS before enrolling.
What kind of child care is The Learning Experience?
- New York licenses The Learning Experience as a Day Care Center (DCC), which is centre-based care in non-residential premises. The category comes from the state's own register, not from the provider.
What ages does The Learning Experience care for?
- New York licenses The Learning Experience for 16 infant places, 50 toddler places and 83 preschool places. Each figure is a ceiling the state set, not current enrolment.
Which school district is The Learning Experience in?
- The Learning Experience sits in the Lakeland school district, in Westchester County. New York records the district on the licence, which matters for school-age care and transport.
Does this page show inspection results for The Learning Experience?
- No. New York's public child care roster carries no violation or inspection fields, and no separate statewide dataset of them was found, so nothing here reflects The Learning Experience's inspection history either way. Look the provider up in the OCFS child care search to read its violations and whether they were corrected.
