WHE is the best early childhood education experience I could have asked for my child or us as parents. Our daughter, now 4.5yo, has been at WHE for 3.5y and has absolutely thrived! She learns so much, “academically” with letters and numbers, emotionally with how to repair and resolve conflict and gain empathy, creatively with any art project she could ask for, and about nature with a child-grown garden and tons of outdoor time. The two teachers are very caring and attentive, taking time to understand each child and pay attention to their needs, while giving them to freedom to explore and make mistakes. The community, as parents and a family, that you get from the other families is also unparalleled (as far as we hear from our other friends), and they have become part of our Ithaca community. Our daughter is going to kindergarten in the fall and we are already sad that the WHE family will not be a regular presence in our lives.
