I was blessed to meet Yaya through a Pastor of mine, when I was just getting back to working from being a stay home mom for close to 2 years. In 2016, I began to take my 2 year old son and my 2 month old daughter to learn at Yaya’s Precious Angels Childcare. Yaya loved and educated my children like they were her own as she also made me feel supported as a mother. Yaya sent daily pictures and updates to keep me informed of the activities and milestones that my kids consistently achieved, like making first friends, taking first steps, increased vocabulary and prewriting skills! Yaya also cared for my oldest daughter who is 8 years apart from my youngest during the summer. My kids loved trips to The Children’s Museum, The Intrepid, The Bronx Zoo, Central Park and more! Starting back at work, I wasn’t making a lot of money but Yaya understood and agreed upon a fair price that was within my budget. I got to know a lot of the parents through parent engagement events at the childcare center and over the years I have gained Yaya and her beautiful daughter as apart of my family! I thank God for the nurturing love and support I found with Yaya’s Precious Angels Childcare and the unwavering dedication that Yaya has as a teacher and a childcare provider.
