CORNERSTONE CHILD ENRICHMENT CENTER

I've had two children under Cornerstone's care for a few years now. Things were good for a while. Of late the quality of care has dipped dramatically. I don't blame the employees as much as I put the blame on Charlotte Hollarn, the owner. Our two year old daughter had her elbow dislocated by one of the employees who, by their own admission, wasn't fully trained or prepared to handle the full load of a class on their own. While some of the employees did their best to communicate and help us along the way, Charlotte was totally neglectful and unavailable throughout the process. Only when we took more affirmative, appropriate action did she respond. And then her response was to ask us to not come back. No apologies. Just passive aggressive deflection. After 4 years there it really hurt for things to end this way because the owner wouldn't take ownership.

This is my personal experience and opinion! My child has been going here since he was 3 months old, he is now 18 months. He has learned a lot, from sign language, words, and colors to songs. He loves seeing his teachers and staff every morning. And as a first-time mom experience, I couldn't recommend this place enough! With that said, also keep in mind that children are wild and are learning through different experiences. So biting, hitting, and fighting is a given regardless of what childcare center you go to. In my experience, the staff here have handled every situation as professionals and corrected the children with love. Anything that has happened in the past is in the past and shouldn't affect your decision on this location.

Our child has been at Cornerstone for the past few months and we have been extremely happy with the quality of care!! Charlotte is very knowledgeable about all things Early Childhood related and has an extremely impressive background. I feel at ease knowing my child is with the Cornerstone staff each day. As a parent, we are notified and informed throughout the day about what activities our child is doing, what meals they are eating, etc. It’s so nice to know exactly what my child is doing each day at school! We have been so impressed and my child has made such great progress in her social skills since beginning this program! We are so grateful for Cornerstone!

We have been with Cornerstone from the get-go. Our child started here when it was Providence and we stayed on through the transition. The level of care and management shown by this center is unmatched! Charlotte, along with her whole staff, has been crucial to us as first-time parents; staying in constant contact, graciously guiding us and working with us through behavioral issues, even going as far as buying/gifting us educational books/cds for parents. We have always been, and remain, confident that our child is exactly where he needs to be. You’re making the best choice when you choose Cornerstone for the daily care of your little one!

My 4 kids have attended Cornerstone Child Enrichment Center in Moore, OK for several months now. I feel so blessed to know my kids are safe and being well cared for while I work. The kids enjoy playing and enriching activities. Any questions or concerns I have had have been immediately addressed. Unfortunately, I think the name is similar to some other centers and it looks like a lot of reviewers may be getting it mixed up with another location even out of state in some cases.
