  • My daughters been going here for over a year now and loves it. Huge step up from where she was previously. Genuine and caring staff. They’ve truly gone above and beyond to mitigate difficult times during the pandemic. I know from experience, you can’t please everyone these days especially, but they’ve handled themselves professionally and they are always pleasant to be around. We also love that she can be involved in extracurricular activities while in school. She looks forward to Ms. Pam coming each week for dance and getting to have her recital each year. Thank you to the entire staff for all that you do!

  • We took our 12 week old for one day and it was awful. First off, they put my 12 week old in a class with 6 infants that were 1yo or close to it. All of them were walking/standing and VERY LOUD. There were 2 teachers but the age and development gap made it difficult for the teachers to give my 12 week old, who can't even sit up yet, the attention his age needs & the attention they promised he would get. I stopped in twice to check on him and found him crying both times. He's a happy baby & hardly ever cries. Also his legs & toes were freezing but they didn't put his pants on that we left. HCJP is probably fine for older kids, even the babies in his class seemed mostly happy, but it seemed like a pretty poor decision to put a 12 week old with babies so much older than him. Also, even though we only went 1 day, we still have to pay for a whole month.

  • First day at this care center was horrible. Although they promised video access to parents when we enrolled our daughter, it was no longer able to be accessed on the first day. When calling to check up on how she was adjusting to daycare, the office did not answer from 9:15 until almost lunch time. A lunch was packed for my daughter, and a water cup. Neither was offered to her throughout the day. When they gave my daughter a school lunch, tuna casserole, she didnt eat it because she is accustomed to certain foods and also allergic to milk, which is why we made sure to pack a separate lunch. When I called to ask why she was not given her lunch or water all day, I was told that she would not be allowed back. I was told although my wife addressed all dietary restrictions during the enrollment and documented it, that it was her fault that the care provider wasn't aware my daughter was allergic to milk. As a parent you worry about your children and what may happen when you are not around, but I would have never thought that she would not be given her food or water at this facility, or given things they are allergic to. I agree with the administration at Happy Campers, that this will never be a good fit for my family, but I feel sorry for the families that are unable to address downfalls of the daycare provider out of fear of their kids being kicked out.
