  • My children are thriving at TLC! Just over 4 months ago, my 2 y/o had not come out of her shell and chose to speak only a handful of words despite her obvious intelligence. She successfully makes clear identifications and sentences now! As a full time student and full time working mom, being intentional in educating has been difficult. I was never made to feel inadequate. All the staff has been supportive and kind to both of my children. My 4 y/o has made tremendous strides in his cognitive development and his behavior is continually improving. The women here are truly gifted at what they do. Thank you, TLC!

  • I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. The communication is disorganized and unprofessional—getting updates or even basic information about my child was like pulling teeth. Management is completely unresponsive and seems more focused on covering up issues than actually fixing them. It’s no surprise that there's a 3.3 rating—clearly the problems run deep. If you’re looking for a safe, well-managed, and transparent environment for your child, keep looking.

  • My son went to this daycare for the first two years of his life, and while the first year was only a bit rocky, the last year was extremely strenuous. I made numerous attempts to work with the owner and the teachers, but I always met with defensive arguments by the owner. The first time this was a major deal, it took me two days to convince her that the teachers actually were not keeping track of my son’s belongings (diapers) and recording his daily activities properly. I was getting notifications of meals he was supposedly eating when he had not even been taken to daycare. After tons of arguing and being told I am a first time mom who just doesn’t know what she is talking about, Trina finally dropped her defensive attitude and admitted the staff dropped the ball and ensured it would be corrected. Now a year later, I had similar issues as well as my son coming home consistently with bite and scratch marks. Any time this has happened, I have to reach out to get the story, seeing as the app is not updated most often until around bedtime that day. Reaching out, I expected a calm conversation about my concerns and how I could assist in making sure my child is cared for AND disciplined if he is the aggressor in the room. However, the conversation took a turn in which Trina decided to raise her voice at me about how I cannot control my child (to summarize several distasteful things she said about myself and my son). The only thing she was right about is my uncertainty in being a first time mom, and moving forward I’ll be sure to do more research prior to sending my son to a daycare owned by someone with such lack of professionalism and common courtesy. I’ll also choose a location that invests in their employees and trains them properly to control their classrooms and communicate to the parents the daily happenings of their children.

  • I moved my daughter from another daycare to be at Trina's Learning Center. It was a hard and scary decision but it has been the BEST decision I could have made for my daughter. She talks about her teachers all the time and runs up to them in the mornings when she sees them. She never did this with her other daycare and would often cry when I dropped her off. She is always excited to go to "Miss Suzy and Miss Carmen's house" and I cannot thank Trina and her staff enough for all the love they give to my child while I am at work.

  • My daughter has been going since she was 11 months. She's now 3. My son has been coming for school breaks for the last 2 years and he's 8. My youngest is thriving and very smart for her age. While I'd like to take some credit for that, I know most of it goes to Trina, Maggie, Suzy , Carmen, Neka, Kourtney and everyone else that my baby spends most her days with. We love Trina's daycare and will 10 out of 10 recommend any day.

  • My kids went here for 4 years and constantly had issues with workers (awful turnover, seems there’s a different staff every month) and anytime I would bring it to the owners attention, they would instantly go into defense mode rather than address the issue. My 7 year old has been being BULLIED by a grown adult on staff and every time I brought it to Trina’s attention, she would accuse my child of lying until this last time when the employee commented on her appearance and I had enough and confronted Trina and demanded a conference with said employee and she literally raised her voice and got into a screaming match with me in front of staff and other parents rather than properly address the issue in a private setting. This was not the first occurrence, rather the last straw. Do not recommend taking your children here.
