  • My daughter went there. They always enjoyed it, and really loved the staff. The place, from what I saw, was well kept and clean. Staff was always friendly, and receptive to any questions I had, and accommodations I had requested.

  • Severe Safety Failures, Family Nepotism, and a Climate of Neglect Do NOT trust this facility with your children. As a former preschool teacher with classroom experience, I know exactly what safe, active supervision looks like—and this place fails on every single level. They cannot maintain physical control of their building, they do not watch the children, and they prioritize protecting the director's family over child safety. My children attended this facility, and they experienced a nightmare scenario due to a total lack of basic classroom oversight. My son was able to consistently escape out of the building through an emergency exit completely unnoticed. Instead of increasing adult supervision or properly securing the exit, the school's only solution was to move my son to a different room. Furthermore, the complete lack of eyes on the children allowed an environment where my son was able to cause massive facility disruption—clogging almost every toilet in the school to the point of requiring a plumber to be called twice—because he was left entirely unmonitored for extended periods. He has never once exhibited this behavior at home; it was a direct result of a chaotic, completely unstructured environment void of adult oversight. Far more alarmingly, this lack of supervision led to severe, unaddressed bullying and a serious sexual boundary violation where another student forcibly pulled my son's pants down. When these incidents were reported, absolutely nothing was done. We discovered that one of the individuals responsible for supervising the children is the director's daughter. Because of this blatant nepotism and a total lack of accountability, the administration completely buried a severe peer-on-peer abuse and safety breach to protect their own family staff. Multiple independent professionals have even stated that they witnessed the ongoing bullying and the staggering lack of classroom supervision firsthand. To make matters worse, my older children consistently expressed a strong dislike and deep discomfort attending this preschool. Children are incredibly perceptive; they picked up on a toxic, neglectful atmosphere where the staff are completely checked out. The staff at this facility are mandated reporters, yet they choose to ignore, dismiss, and hide severe abuse of vulnerable children. A warning to parents reading these reviews: Pay close attention to how management responds to negative feedback here. When faced with serious, legitimate safety concerns, the owner's immediate reaction is to argue, deny, deflect, and claim the reviewer "was never enrolled" or "never worked there" rather than taking accountability. Do not let their defensive online PR fool you. The safety failures here are real, documented, and dangerous. Save your family the trauma and go anywhere else.

  • Do NOT send your child here if they are under two. It looks fun for older kids but we have had the worst experience and are pulling our 17 month old after only 4 visits. The small room they keep them in is the size of a closet, with no room for them to move around and barely any toys. The daycare worker never said hi to our son or seemed happy at all to see him. She never engaged with him and I doubt ever played with him. They have 7 month olds in that room so therefore the older kids seem to get ignored. They claim they take them out twice a day? I honestly don’t believe that. They only confirmed one time they took him out and it wasn’t very long. We showed up at random pick times each time and he would always be in his play pen crying. They would say oh he just woke up! Odd that he just woke up every time we happened to arrive. He would be so sad and quiet the rest of the day, super thirsty and hungry. There are no windows in that room and it’s always dark with a sound machine going. The most recent time we picked him up, the caregiver wasn’t giving us info on his day so I asked. She said he ate a few bites and threw up later in the day and snoozed on and off all day. Alarm bells immediately went off. Our son is 17 months old and not sick. He has only randomly thrown up from crying extremely hard and he never snoozes on and off even when he’s sick. He takes one nap every day. That’s when I realized they probably keep him in the play pen most of the day, whenever he cries. Again, the caregiver doesn’t interact with him at all, she barely talks to us. There are so many red flags I could go on and on. Definitely a lesson in trusting your gut if it doesn’t seem right. If you have a little one under two PLS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

  • Disappointed & Heartbroken My time at Bend Preschool was the worst childcare experience I have ever encountered. The supervision of the children is severely lacking, staff members are Constantly distracted by their phones and tend to hide from camera view rather than engaging with the kids. Due to chronic understaffing, (I wonder why) it is challenging for employees to connect with the children, leading to a lack of meaningful interactions. The director's unprofessionalism is evident, as she allows family members on staff to do whatever without accountability. When I attempted to make constructive suggestions, I was met with attitude and negativity instead of openness. Additionally, contacting the owners about serious concerns is frustrating, as they seem indifferent to the issues at hand. I truly wish parents were aware of what happens when they leave their precious children in this environment. I hope this review provides insight into the challenges faced at Bend Preschool as I believe parents deserve to know the reality of the situation.

  • Hands down the best preschool in Bend. The co op experience has been wonderful. Getting to be in the classroom with my lil one & seeing how everyone interacts together has been a gift for me as a mom. We have met great people here & we feel so much a part of this special community! Would recommend to anyone looking for a starting point for their 3-4 year old.

  • My daughter has been at Bend Preschool for about a year and a half now, and we absolutely love it. She constantly talks about all her friends and all the teachers and is so excited to come to school in the mornings. She has developed so much since we started at BP and gets to eat lots of yummy food throughout the days she spends here! We can’t recommend Bend Preschool enough and absolutely love all of the teachers!
