  My daughter has been at Curious Minds since October 2024 and to say she loves it would be an understatement. The staff is the best, all incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. They make the daycare as good as it is, my daughter is obsessed with her teachers in sweetest way. It makes taking her each day so much easier, knowing shes happy, safe and well taken care of. The communication is outstanding, from daily updates and photos to curriculum notifications that show exactly what the kids are learning and working on. It’s clear that there’s a thoughtful, structured program in place, not just daycare. My daughter has made the sweetest friendships and it’s amazing to see how much she’s growing socially and academically. On top of all that, the daycare is very affordable for the level of care and quality they provide. I truly feel lucky to have found this place and would recommend it to any parent without hesitation.

  My son has been attending since April 2025 and I have nothing but truly amazing things to say. Not only is it on the more affordable side of daycare, the staff is incredible. My son is very sweet and sensitive, but I'm not blind to the fact he’s also also very hyper active and highly sensitive with huge feelings that he doesn’t always express in the most gentle or kind ways. He can be tough, but the director, Mikayla, has always met him where he was at, helped validate his feelings while also setting clear, firm boundaries and offered healthier behavior alternatives. She’s great at looping us in so we can work as a team without “parent shaming”and truly seems to want the best for her students. The owner, AJ, is also wonderful with the kids and also seems to really care about all aspects involved. They’re both highly communicative to activities, events, updates, any policy changes, etc. The teachers they’ve hired are top notch and really seem to love what they do and care about the kids all around well being. They serve healthy, balanced foods, have a regular curriculum with a lot of play based learning, encourage exercise with almost daily outdoor time, creativity, cooperation and everything else you could possibly want in an early education center. My sons social skills, fine motor, and just overall skills and knowledge have gotten SO much better since starting at Curious Minds PDX. Parents also get multiple updates and pictures and videos throughout the day and my son looks like he’s always SO happy and having SO much fun! When we decided to enroll our son in daycare/preschool it was a really hard decision for us as parents and I truly don’t think we could’ve found a more perfect place. HIGHLY, highly recommend!!

  Our 3 year old son was having a really hard time at our previous day care. He never wanted to go & we felt terrible leaving him. Our neighbors told us about their daycare & after visiting & chatting with the teachers, we knew it could be a great fit. And it has been! Our son LOVES his teachers. They lead with play and fun art projects. They get outdoors almost every day which our son really loves and needs. Every time I walk in the teachers are leading some relay races or a silly dance & it looks so fun. Just what pre-schoolers should be doing. We are so happy we made the switch!

  We are absolutely thrilled with our experience here. The staff are not only qualified but truly seem to love what they do. It's clear they put a lot of care into every aspect of this preschool, ensuring a creative, fun, and enriching environment for my kids. The location is fantastic, convenient for drop-offs and pick-ups, and the facilities are always clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, my children are happy and feel cared for, which is the most comforting feeling a parent could ask for. We feel fortunate to have our kids here and highly recommend this preschool to any parent considering it.

  Both my niece and nephew have had such positive experiences at Curious Minds Preschool/Daycare that last two years they’ve attended — they absolutely love it! When I pick them up from daycare they act as if they never want to leave. The staff is very professional, kind, communicative, and amazing with the children.
