  We had our daughter enrolled at JuniperHaven in 2025 from 6 to 10 months of age. Our daughter was very well taken care of and always in a good mood when we picked her up. We had a great experience with the educators and administration and would recommend this place to anyone. Were it not for the convenience of finding a daycare much closer to our home, we would still be enrolled there.

  My son began attending Juniperhaven when he was two years old, and has grown so much since then. Our experiences in the littles room and the pre-k room included teachers with whom our son formed healthy bonds and some friendships, too. A play-based approach was important to us when looking for a place for our son, and Amy's center embraces that mindset. We're grateful for the time he spent there, and know he learned a great deal from his teachers and friends. We recommend Juniperhaven to anyone who is looking for a place for their little one!

  Our daughter has been in the 2’s class for almost a year. She’s loved her teachers (Ms Julie and Ms Alyson are so great) and has bonded with the kids too. She’s been really happy there. They go outside everyday, they have little yoga classes sometimes and do special art projects on holidays. The owner Amy has been super easy to communicate with and you can tell she really takes pride in her program and values her staff. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a play based daycare!

  The absolute best preschool in town. My son has attended Juniperhaven for 3 years (age 2-5) and the benefits he has received from this place has made me confident he will thrive in public school this coming fall. Communication: Top notch. 3-5 pictures of your kid each day with descriptions of their activities, what they ate, what they learned, and the creativity they express through both structured learning and the free-form play with their new best friends (more on that later) Curriculum: Guided art plays a major role in the curriculum, developing fine motor skills with drawing and painting. Recognition and practice of letters and numbers is also taught, with basic math and reading woven in seamlessly into fun themes that the children are actively engaged in. Staff Engagement: You can just tell that every teacher wants to be there, and I think Amy has done a fantastic job fleshing out a staff that becomes both mentor and friend to every child. Hours of operation: Start work at 7? Leave at 5? Juniperhaven offers both early drop off and late pickup for a very modest tuition increase. Free-form play: This preschool is a strong believer in kids engaging with each other on their own terms. The building is full of blocks, mats, costumes, stations, legos, art tools, a stage, and a full playground - and they let the kids use them as they please to make their own games; their own memories; their own friends that they will start talking about non-stop at home. The social benefits that come with this style of development cannot be understated. You can't get this from a nanny or a tutor. They teach each other things that we cannot teach them. 10/10

  Absolutely hands down best day care experience I’ve ever had. The communication receive from the teachers at the school while our daughter is at Juniperhaven is remarkable. I love that they send you pictures throughout the day and provide nutritious snacks, breakfast and lunch! Amy is a wonderful owner and genuinely cares about every single one or her families, she has a passion for childhood development that is reflected in her work. Her teachers are regularly involved in trainings and educational events to ensure the best care to all types of children and families. I recommend Juniperhaven to all of my coworkers at the hospital. We’ve been with Amy since our daughter was 4 months old and have cherished this daycare every day since!
