  We are so pleased with our son’s experience at pinecone. The environment is full of enrichment, love, and attention to individual children's needs. There is consistent focus on outdoor time, regardless of the weather, key for NW kids.Communication is excellent from the staff and they respond immediately to questions or concerns. Additional parent education nights have been supportive for us as new parents. This school is also very focused on helping parents succeed. Kids are sent home with the snack every day. The kids’ laundry is managed at the school, which is a huge help. We could not be happier with Pinecone!

  Our son has been at Pinecone for the past 5 months and we couldn’t be happier. Before starting, we had a nanny for 1.5 years and making the switch to daycare for the first time was nerve-racking. I was worried about finding a place that genuinely cared for my son, was clean and had quality providers. Pinecone has far exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perception about what group childcare should look like. From the moment we joined the Pinecone community, the admin, teachers and other families have made us feel at home. The location itself is beautiful. There’s a playground, sandpit and apple orchard where the kids spend time outside each day in nature. Inside, the classrooms have engaging, high-quality toys and purposeful activities designed to build independence and confidence. I’ve been amazed with how much our son has grown since joining - from learning things like how to get dressed on his own and using the potty, to learning how to regulate his emotions and build friendships. All these things have made an enormous impact on his self-confidence, and are a testament to the wonderful staff and teachers. Every individual approaches each day with patience, warmth and positivity, and they provide transparent communication with parents, allowing us to reinforce the learning they do at school in the home. On top of all that, I love the quality food they provide which is thoughtfully prepared by Micah. It’s important for me to know my son is getting well-balanced meals that introduce him to new food and flavors, otherwise he would eat cheese for every meal! His favorite part of each day is the take home snack, which he quickly devours during our drive home every evening. Pinecone is a truly magical place and we’ve had such a great experience that our newborn daughter will also be starting in a few months. I genuinely can’t imagine a better environment for our family to grow.

  Parenthood is filled with a lot of tough decisions, and childcare ranks high on that list. For my husband and I, Pinecone and its welcoming community made that decision easy. We started our son part‑time, hoping to keep him home the other days. But once we cleared the initial hurdle of transitioning to daycare, it became clear how much he absolutely loved it. There were mornings he rushed to the door, begging to go! When a full‑time slot opened up, we jumped at the opportunity, and we’re so glad we did. Pinecone provides a truly nurturing environment, and our son adores the teachers and staff. He’s made wonderful little friends while gaining independence and new skills along the way. As parents, we feel welcome and valued as true partners in his growth. Pinecone is a rare gem, and we’re so grateful we found it. Parenthood may be full of tough decisions, but choosing Pinecone isn’t one of them!

  I cannot recommend Pinecone enough! We moved to the area this past summer and were so nervous about finding a daycare we’d love as much as our last one. Little did we know that Pinecone would be beyond anything we could have dreamed of for our son. Pinecone not only cares deeply for the children, they care for the parents too. They host thoughtful events, stay in close communication, and foster a true sense of community. It doesn’t feel like just a school, it feels like a group of people who genuinely want to support one another and do what’s best for the kids. The teachers are incredible. Even though my son has had a tough time with drop-offs, they approach each morning with so much sweetness and patience. They care about his feelings and my feelings, which has meant the world to us. My son also has allergies, and they have been consistently responsive, aware, and communicative in making sure everything is handled safely. We feel so lucky to be part of Pinecone, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for childcare in the area. They are a true gift to our family.

  Our daughter has been attending Pinecone Childcare since the beginning of 2025 and it has exceeded every expectation we had. We’ve watched her grow and thrive thanks to the loving, enriching environment Pinecone provides. The teachers have been instrumental in her progress. Their patient, encouraging, and hands-on approach has nurtured her curiosity and confidence each day. It’s been amazing to see how much she’s learned and how joyful she is when she talks all of her friends at Pinecone! She knows so many other children by name in her toddler community. The thoughtful structure of the program, paired with plenty of outdoor play in the beautiful playground and garden, has supported her physical and social development. We’re also so grateful for Chef Micah, whose meals are nutritious and made with genuine care and creativity. We always joke that we wish we could eat at Pinecone with our daughter. And she certainly looks forward to her meals! The entire Pinecone team has created such a warm, intentional, and high-quality childcare community. Pinecone has truly felt like an extension of our family, and we couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and encouraged to flourish.
