  • They don’t care about the kids at all at this daycare. I recommend nobody send their kids there. All of the staff is rude including the people in charge. NEVER again

  • wouldn’t recommend this school at all

  • This school is horrible! I pulled my son from here and just the first week at his new school he seems happier. He actually wants to go to school now. They lack paying attention to the kids and actually doing their jobs. But they think they doctors and wanna say your child is behind because they don’t wanna do their jobs so they reach out to other companies for help. My son been at his new 2 weeks in they said he’s the most advanced 2yr old in his class. I really regret every putting my son in this school!

  • My daughter attended A Child's Nest from the age of 6 weeks. She thrived there and we absolutely loved the experience. From day 1 the teachers were professional, patient and very encouraging. My daughter had some great memories there and she still talks about her teachers to this day.

  • My son and nephew attend this daycare and i love it so much. So glad my son is more comfortable than when we started here. The teachers n staff are great pleasant. I didn't give 5 because of their hours lol close too early for me. Overall wonderful place we appreciate them dearly.

  • If your child has an IEP or any special needs. Don’t send them here. There are better schools. Even without that , there are better schools.

Questions parents ask about A CHILDS NEST

Is A CHILDS NEST a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. A CHILDS NEST holds Pennsylvania certificate 101793972-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to December 28, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is A CHILDS NEST's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates A CHILDS NEST STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 14, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against A CHILDS NEST?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against A CHILDS NEST at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does A CHILDS NEST accept child care subsidy?

Yes. A CHILDS NEST holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.

Does this page show inspection results for A CHILDS NEST?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects A CHILDS NEST's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
